Current UFC lightweight champion BJ Penn retained his title, submitting Kenny Florian in the fourth-round of their bout at the Wachovia Center. Penn looked great from the first round, stunning Florian several times, before receiving a takedown of his own. Penn landed a rear naked choke forcing Florian to submit at 3:54 in the fourth.
