‘Southern Charm’ Wrap Up, What Did Fans Learn From The Reunion? [Spoilers]

What did fans learn from the Southern Charm reunion last night? Quite a few things. Just when viewers thought they knew everything about the Southern Charm cast, Andy Cohen pulls out another nugget, and some of it is even a shock to the people sitting on those couches in Long Island City.

Lessons learned at the Southern Charm reunion include things like, if you lie, be ready to be called out, because it’s likely that Andy Cohen has a clip that will make you look like a jerk, and that includes fibbing for an entire season, even to your “friends” about your educational level. Next, mean girls come in all shapes and sizes, and little is sacred to them when it comes to scoring points. Even the welfare of young children takes a back seat when it comes to trying to save face after being caught in a lie. Lastly, men on Southern Charm pushing forty who take home different girls each night from bars don’t consider themselves misogynists. Interesting.

According to the Inquisitr, Southern Charm cast member Thomas Ravenel planned a Valentine’s getaway with Kathryn Dennis, but when she asked for her own room, he threw her over for a woman he thought would sleep with him, and that was Landon, about whom he has told friends, “She has secret talents in the bedroom.” Ravenel, 54, just sat there smiling while Landon turned red after finding out that she was not Ravenel’s first choice for his Valentine’s Day conquest. Even though she wasn’t asked, Cameran chimed in that she thought Kathryn was paranoid for believing that Landon had slept with Thomas on that trip, while fans at home had the information confirmed. When Ravenel ditched the mother of his children because she wouldn’t sleep with him on Valentine’s Day, why would he then choose another woman, unless he was convinced she was a sure thing?

The State complied some favorite moments from the season three reunion of Southern Charm, and they are pretty funny (unless you were sitting on the velveteen couches with Andy Cohen). Shep Rose was lured into a false sense of security before Andy Cohen lowered the boom, suggesting that fans thought he was a misogynist. Kathryn sleeps with three people in her twenties and is called out, Landon sleeps with three people in her mid-thirties and is called out, but Shep admits with a grin that he takes home a different “girl” every night, and that is no problem. He even labels them with numbers, like the rest of his middle school friends (most pushing 50 pretty hard), and says that a female date is DTF, which won’t be defined here, but Google it if you don’t know what it means; it’s vulgar, even if you are a frat boy.

A suggestion that you hate women should appall you and your mama. Say you are sorry, and work to change your behavior going forward. This is the best apology, but Shep decided to comment anyway.

“I am not disrespectful to women. I don’t want to be a misogynist.”

Andy Cohen, to his credit, wasn’t buying it.

“Isn’t hooking up with all these women disrespectful to them?”

Yes, Andy, and especially when one considers that pond Shep fishes in is not that deep. Souvenir shops could now sell shirts that read “I shtupped Shep.”

Tamaratattles also reviewed the Southern Charm reunion, and while Landon seemed to want to make Kathryn and her custody battle with Thomas Ravenel topic one, nobody else was having it, even Andy Cohen, who seemed to take secret joy in embarrassing Landon on her failed business venture, and for being the second choice on a Valentine’s Day booty call with Thomas Ravenel. Landon still wanted to push the idea that Kathryn only has talent on her back, so Tamaratattles pondered Landon’s talents, and where she buys those bizarre earrings.

“Because Twitter reminded me Cameran was on The Real World which reminded me that Landon was playing the girl to the right of Whitney Cummings on The Hills. That was probably the high point of her nasty existence, last year she was a homeless girl living on someone’s docked dingy, right?”

Then, there was the suggestion that Landon does allegedly have a dog in Thomas Ravenel’s court battle as Landon is the alleged supplier of Molly (MDMA for the rest of you) for Ravenel. When that information comes out it court, Landon likely won’t be asking Thomas to whip out his papers anymore.

And that was only part one of the Southern Charm reunion. It’s a sure bet that fans will tune in next week.

Who do you think “won” the Southern Charm reunion last night? Who do you think lost?
