Shannon Beador Slams Fans Who Call Her ‘Unappreciative’ After Gift From Husband

Shannon Beador is trying to move on from the fact that her husband, David Beador, had an affair a few years ago. Shannon was determined to fight for her marriage so she didn’t become a statistic in Orange County. After much therapy and many dates, it sounds like things are turning around in the Beador marriage. And on last night’s episode of the show, Beador and her husband decided to go out for a Valentine’s Day dinner. During the dinner, David pulled out a gift for his wife, a pearl necklace which seemed to be rather old looking. Shannon was clearly not pleased with the gift.

According to a new Bravo report, Shannon Beador is now revealing that she is far from unappreciative when it comes to her husband. Shannon reveals that she may have looked twice at the necklace that her husband presented to her on Valentine’s Day, but she’s not unappreciative of the things he does for her. As it turns out, David didn’t like the necklace either after a while.

“David has picked out most of the jewelry that I have. And I have really loved anything he has ever bought for me — but not this necklace very much. He decided he didn’t like it either when we got home. I don’t want people to start going off on me that I am an unappreciative wife. I am incredibly grateful for my husband’s thoughtfulness and generosity. I’m quite sure every married woman has received at least one gift over a 15-plus-year marriage that they didn’t like,” Shannon Beador explains in her blog for Bravo, sharing that she is very thankful that her husband actually does pick up things for her.

And while things are going great in the Beador home, Shannon is learning that she can’t escape the past when it comes to Vicki Gunvalson. Shannon Beador really wanted an explanation and an apology from Vicki last year when the ladies were filming The Real Housewives of Orange County. Beador wanted Vicki to admit that she knew that Brooks Ayers was lying about his involvement in the cancer scheme. Before this current season started, fans wanted to know if Shannon Beador had forgiven Vicki or if they talked. And all of the questions about her co-star made Shannon seem like she had not moved on.

“It’s been an interesting week, especially on social media. People have been supporting my decisions and then others have been blasting me for “not moving on” with the Vicki situation. Newsflash. I am continually asked how I feel about Vicki. I answer the questions. I am not obsessed with Vicki. I have forgiven and don’t want to engage in a friendship anymore. It’s plain and simple,” Shannon Beador explains in her Real Housewives of Orange County blog, revealing that she has moved on.

In a previous blog, Shannon revealed that she had forgiven Vicki, but she had no interest in a friendship. During last night’s episode, Beador learned that Kelly Dodd had gone out for lunch with Gunvalson, and all of the ladies seemed shocked about it. Kelly did reveal that she thought the ladies were a bit rude, but she later learned that there may be a reason to be cautious around her.

“I was surprised to hear that Kelly went out to lunch with Vicki. Each one of us has our own ‘history’ with Vicki and Kelly doesn’t know all of the facts involved,” Beador points out.

What do you think of Shannon Beador this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County? Do you think Shannon will ever make peace with Gunvalson face-to-face?
