Kristen Stewart recently made her first red carpet appearance after news broke months back that she had cheated on boyfriend Robert Pattinson with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. So how is KStew doing sans-RPatz? According to her, she’s “doing fine,” despite previous appearances and reports that she is going through a complete emotional breakdown.

The 22-year-old Twilight alumnus greeted fans and photographers on Thursday at the red carpet premiere of her latest film, On the Road, an adaptation of the 1957 Jack Kerouac novel of the same name. The premiere, at the Toronto International Film Festival, hosted hoards of Stewart’s fans screaming “Kristen, I love you!” and cheering for the actress, reports People.

Stewart didn’t (directly) talk about the scandal, only beaming that her fan support at the event was “amazing” and said she was thankful “to know that everyone is here,” reports Reuters. When asked how she is doing, she merely responded, “I’m fine.”

After the film during a Q&A session, Stewart may have referenced her personal life when she talked about the difficulties stemming from playing Marylou in the film. “She loved so openly – and that’s hard,” she said.

As for Pattinson? His last appearance was at the MTV Music Video Awards, and he seemed to be doing “fine” as well. After the show, he joined Ashley Greene and other Twilight pals at a small gathering in West Hollywood. He mostly kept to himself at the party, but that’s pretty normal for the eccentric and reclusive Rob.

“He was smiling and really enjoying himself, chatting to his friends,” a source told People. “He [seemed] committed to having a night out with close, trusted friends and he didn’t break away from the comfort of them.”
