‘The Bachelorette’ 2016 Spoilers — Episode 6: Mystery Date Confusion And Tempers Flare Tonight Over JoJo Fletcher

JoJo Fletcher is looking at a much shorter road to true love at this point, as her season of The Bachelorette is almost more than halfway over. Her list of guys is going down in number each week, and she’s getting closer and closer to having to choose the man of her dreams. As she and the remaining guys finish things in Buenos Aires, tempers start to flare, and mystery dates abound as she figures out who to send home next.

Please let it be known that there are possible spoilers ahead for the current season of The Bachelorette starring JoJo Fletcher. If you don’t want to know them, stop reading now.

Episode 6 of The Bachelorette will begin with eight guys remaining, and Reality Steve hasn’t really revealed a whole lot of information about the dates for tonight. Last week did end with a rose ceremony elimination, and that means these are your remaining suitors:

  • Jordan Rodgers
  • Wells Adams
  • James Taylor
  • Robby Hayes
  • Luke Pell
  • Chase McNary
  • Derek Peth
  • Alex Woytkiw

The IB Times reports that things are going to be quite interesting tonight, as “tempers flare” and “the competition intensifies” between the remaining men. During the group date, it could get rather heated as the men continue to bicker with one another and try to one-up the next guy.

Reality Steve doesn’t have a lot of details on all the dates, but the mystery one-on-one date has been revealed as Wells Adams. It ends up being a little awkward between him and JoJo, and she reportedly realizes that it’s just not meant to be. She sends him home.

There is a group date with JoJo and five guys, but there isn’t a whole lot to tell there. No one gets eliminated and all guys are safe afterward.

The two-on-one date that takes place will have our bachelorette heading out in Buenos Aires with Derek and Chase. If you can believe it, there are even more uncomfortable date moments in tonight’s episode, as Derek lets her know that he loves her and that he believes he is falling for her.

It’s at that point that she sends him home and keeps Chase around for another week. With that, it’s bye-bye to Derek Peth. It takes more than words to stay by JoJo’s side.

Once it is down to just six remaining guys, those tempers flare again with the guys in the group. The guitar-playing James Taylor confronts Jordan Rodgers. While this is happening, JoJo ends up having a little bit of fun and private time with Luke Pell.

While the dates may not be much to write home about, the in-between action on tonight’s episode more than makes up for it.

Believe it or not, that will be it. There is no rose ceremony this week, as both guys being sent home get eliminated during their respective dates. Derek and Wells’ time on The Bachelorette is done, and it’s on to Episode 7 next week with the remaining six guys.

Viewers need to take into consideration that ABC does often edit the episodes of their shows in different ways. What you read here is going to happen, but it could take place across multiple episodes if the network decides to switch things up and prolong the drama.

The Bachelorette is really getting down to the nitty-gritty for this season, as JoJo Fletcher has kept the guys that truly mean something to her. Yes, she may have cared for some of the others, but at this point in the season, the remaining guys are those who have a piece of her heart. Tempers have flared, the villain is long gone, and guys like Jordan Rodgers and James Taylor remain, but there are still a number of episodes remaining to determine the true winner.
