‘RHOC’ Star Meghan King Edmonds Announces Pregnancy And Shares Baby Bump Photo, Cameran Eubanks Offers Advice

Meghan King Edmonds is seen undergoing in-vitro fertilization during the 11th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Ahead of the season premiere, she announced she and her husband, former MLB player Jim Edmonds, were expecting a child together.

On Instagram on Monday, June 20, the day of the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11 premiere, Meghan King Edmonds confirmed the exciting news to her many fans and followers, revealing she and Jim would be welcoming their baby girl around the holidays.

“We’re expecting a perfect little bundle of sugar and spice and everything nice!” Meghan King Edmonds wrote. “Jimmy and I are over the moon! We are thrilled to bring our daughter into our perfectly imperfect blended family in time for the holidays!”

Throughout Season 11, Meghan King Edmonds has been seen dealing with the hardships of in-vitro fertilization, and understandably, it’s been a bit rough on the reality star.

“Just drawing the meds in oil freaked me out! Those were some bad mornings – took me hours sometimes to do it,” Meghan King Edmonds revealed to fans on Twitter on June 26.

Meghan King Edmonds also dished on her plans for childbirth, claiming that while she wasn’t against an epidural, she wasn’t planning to request one unless the pain was unbearable. She also said she was afraid of the large needle entering her body.

“I’m not scared of the pain at all! Only afraid of the needle and the thought of it entering my body,” she explained.

At that point, Meghan King Edmonds was met with a bit of advice from her fellow Bravo star Cameran Eubanks of Southern Charm, which also airs on Monday nights on Bravo.

“Trick I learned regarding needles: I ask for the meanest nurse and tell them not to put up with my BS. It’s over quicker,” Eubanks revealed on June 26.

“I like them as long as they don’t talk to me! I’ve had to do soooo many! Regular pregnancy is a breeze,” Meghan King Edmonds responded.

After announcing her pregnancy last week, Meghan King Edmonds spoke to People Magazine, revealing, “I’m so over the moon, I couldn’t believe it the first time I peed on a stick and I saw that little line kind of get a little darker… I’ve always dreamed of this, but it’s still such a miracle. I can’t even describe the feeling.”

This will be the first child for Meghan King Edmonds and the third for her husband, Jim, who also has two kids from his previous marriage.

During the interview, Meghan King Edmonds, who is now four months along, said that while she is currently feeling good and has plenty of energy, the journey to pregnancy was a hard one.

“We went through IVF and fortunately we got pregnant the first time,” Meghan King Edmonds said, adding that while she hadn’t experienced fertility issues, her husband underwent a vasectomy and froze his sperm. “It was just such a long process with the IVF, step by step by step with so much information.”

Meghan King Edmonds is currently starring in her second season of The Real Housewives of Orange County after joining the show last year.
