The Aston Martin from Quantum of Solace isn’t the only piece of Bond-memorabilia going up for auction. Daniel Craig’s blue leave-little-to-the-imagination swim trunks from Casino Royale will also be auctioned off, the proceeds of which are said to go to charity.

As a part of “Global James Bond Day,” several pieces of Bond-memorabilia are being auctioned off online. The latest prop? Bond’s blue La Perla swim trunks from Casino Royale that he wore in a scene early on in his debut Bond film. The proceeds from the online auction, held in honor of the 50th anniversary of the first Bond film’s opening, will go toward dozens of charities, including UNICEF and Britain’s Tickets for Troops, notes NY Daily.

The swim trunks are expected to sell around $8,000.

We previously reported that the Aston Martin driven by Craig in the film Quantum of Solace is also up for sale, and is expected to fetch up to $225,000. Other items being auctioned in addition to the Aston Martin and the blue La Perla trunks: the deck of Tarot cards used by Jane Seymour in 1973′s Live and Let Die, a belt with a golden bullet buckle worn by Christopher Lee when he portrayed the villain Scaramanga in 1974′s The Man With the Golden Gun, and Pierce Brosnan’s two-piece Brioni suit from 1999′s The World Is Not Enough, auctioned alongside a double-sided poster signed by Brosnan himself.

If they really want to take home the gold in the Bond auction, they ought to put up some of the more iconic film props like Oddball’s hat or Scaramanga’s golden gun. Wishful thinking, I suppose.
