Tom Cruise And Katie Holmes Preparing For ‘Explosive Showdown,’ Report Claims

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are said to be preparing for an “explosive showdown.” One in court, that is.

Tom could be in for quite a fight if Katie demands higher child support, a new report claims. As several reports have stated, Tom is currently paying ex-wife Katie $400,000 annually in child support for their daughter, Suri, 10. The actor hasn’t seen Suri in nearly three years — allegedly due to his heavy involvement with the Church of Scientology.

For months it’s been rumored that Katie has planned to take her ex-husband to court and get the child support raised. Apparently, hundreds of thousands of dollars isn’t enough considering Tom Cruise’s income.

Hollywood Life cites a report by Life & Style that claims Katie Holmes is ready for an epic “showdown” in court with Tom Cruise. A source tells the tabloid that Katie is “fed up,” and that some friends say the former couple is “headed back to court where they would have an explosive showdown.” Katie believes she’ll “triumph,” the insider adds.

Furthermore, if Tom makes things difficult in the process, Katie might just use some “bombshell secrets” against him to her advantage. The magazine’s source went on to claim that Holmes has some dirt on Cruise regarding his “allegiance to Scientology” during the the six years they were married. She’d also expose the reasons for him not seeing their daughter for years on end.

There’s no indication as to what those dark, bombshell secrets might be. Anyone who’s married knows that their partner has some aspects of their life they wouldn’t want shared. Cruise and Holmes are no different.

Additionally, Life & Style’s source reveals that Katie “isn’t the same person” she was when she was married to Tom and that she won’t settle for just anything in the next court “showdown.”

“It could be a brutal court battle. Katie used to be afraid of Tom and his legal team, but she’s not the same person she was when she split from Tom four years ago. She’s taken control of her life and is a lot stronger. Tom’s in for a real fight!”

Not that Cruise is willing to back down, the source reveals.

“He has a group of pit bull attorneys, who will insist that he’s honored the divorce agreement and pays more than a substantial amount of child support. This isn’t going to be a cakewalk legal battle for Katie, either … Tom is going to make sure the showdown isn’t easy for Katie.”

Not long after the report was published, the celebrity gossip surveillance site Gossip Cop corrected the reports again. According to the highly credible site, Holmes’ rep reached out to them and corrected Life & Style’s false story.

“There is no truth to it whatsoever.”

So once more an untrue story about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes is being plastered on the internet and magazine stands.

Several other rumors have been published on the pair, mostly having to do with Holmes’ alleged relationship with Jamie Foxx. Several outlets have printed that the two are engaged, secretly married, or are having a baby. The latest frenzy has to do with Foxx flirting with other women and supposedly cheating on Holmes with a mystery blonde at a hotel in South Beach, Miami after a fundraising event last week.

Whatever the true status is of Holmes’ and Foxx’s relationship, they seem to be good friends. A swarm of speculation buzzes around the two and how deep their friendship runs. Neither one of them is sharing details.
