LeAnn Rimes Leaves Rehab Early To Go On Tour [Video]

LeAnn Rimes ditched rehab after just one week to perform at a series of previously scheduled concerts. Treatment for stress and anxiety issues will have to wait until the singer gets off stage. She reportedly entered a treatment facility to develop better coping mechanisms to deal with stressful situations. In a blog post, the country music star detailed her weekend plans. There was no mention of an eventual return to the rehab center in the blog update.

Rimes had this to say in her blog:

“I’m on a plane and headed to see all my fans in Wisconsin fans tonight! I’m so ready. I’ve got a zillion fashion mags, my journal, iPod, water and Butterfingers. I’m all set. Seems I’ve developed a sweet tooth after turning 30. If that’s all that comes with 30, I think I’m settling in pretty well. So far, the new decade is treating me great!”

A source claiming to be close to the singer and her husband, Eddie Cibrian, told US Weekly that LeAnn Rimes’ primary source of anxiety is a preoccupation with the fear that her husband is cheating. During the interview, the source also claimed that the musician turned actress is stressed out about being referred to as a home-wrecker and worries that her new husband will cheat again — this time on her.

Rime’s childhood mentor, Bill Mack, feels that Hollywood has changed the woman he first met as an 11-year-old musical phenom, according to the Daily Mail. Mack reportedly believes that LeAnn has been on a downward spiral, and her beautiful voice is taking a backseat to all the attention she is getting for Cibrian’s divorce, entering rehab, and accusations about eating disorders. The longtime friend also claims the “Blue” songstress was overworked during her teenage years, did not have the support system she needed to deal with super stardom, and needs to return to her southern roots to have any hope of a recovery.
