Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello Feud — The Tweet That Has Fans Talking

Fifth Harmony fans are buzzing about a possible feud between Lauren Jauregui and Camila Cabello. Despite the criticism the ladies receive for their relationship towards one another, Camila and Lauren are good friends, but Harmonizers still think there two singers are at odds.

It supposedly happened between Cabello’s manager, Roger Gold, and Jauregui’s mom, Clara Jauregui. It all started at the 2016 MuchMusic Video Awards, when Cabello’s manager tweeted that he was proud of the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” singer for winning four awards.

Obviously, Camila won two of those awards from her duet with Shawn Mendes. Lauren’s mom then pointed out that two of Camila’s wins were from being a part of Fifth Harmony. While the tweet has since been deleted, fans quickly took screenshots of the underhanded shade that Lauren’s mom threw Camila’s way.

On the other hand, Lauren’s mom could have been innocently pointing out that Camila is still a major part of Fifth Harmony, despite her solo music efforts. But, this isn’t the first time that feud rumors between Camila and the other 5H singers have swirled.

Lauren Jauregui and Camila Cabello seemed to be cozy with each other earlier this month. They both agreed that one of the things they love about their girl group is the diversity that they provide to their fans. The ladies sat down for an interview with Wonderland magazine about their new Fifth Harmony Barbie doll collection and why it’s so important to have their image in the toy industry.

Jauregui, 19, revealed that she still can’t believe the news of their new doll range and she loves that it celebrates their differences.

“That was a surreal experience for us. Having a Barbie that looks like me is crazy. It’s sitting in my house. We’re very diverse, for sure.”

Cabello, also 19, said that she’s honored to have her band picked. She’s also glad that they stay true to their looks and didn’t try to change them.

“It’s just really special because I feel like representation is so important, especially for little girls growing up that have dreams, and because of prejudices or because of Eurocentric standards they might not think that they’re good enough or quote-unquote pretty enough — whatever. We have all different ethnicities, we have all different body types, so I think that makes us really special.”

Lauren, Camila, and the rest of the girls have been busy since their latest album, 7/27, dropped in late May. Since then, the girl group has released their new music video for “All In My Head” featuring rapper Fetty Wap. Lauren and the girls embarked on their 7/27 World Tour, which kicked off in Lima, Peru, which kicked off earlier this week. They were greeted with some heavy fan presence at the airport and in front of their hotel.

Earlier this month, Lauren felt a little overwhelmed by all of the sudden attention at another airport, which left her in tears and with crippling anxiety. She took to Snapchat to document the difficult time with her 5H fans, so they could better understand her struggles. Then, her fans then started the #RespectLauren hashtag to show their support for the singer. It’s not clear why Lauren was crying, or if it was just anxiety from the situation of the fans invading her space.

Back in May, the girls of Fifth Harmony shared their personal struggles in their Billboard cover story. Like Jauregui, Cabello admitted that she also suffers from anxiety from time to time.

“I was having terrible anxiety, nonstop. My heart would beat really fast the whole day. Two hours after I woke up, I’d need a nap because my body was so hyperactive. It was so eff — sorry, but it was so [messed] up. I was scared of what would happen to me, of the things my brain might tell me. I realized the stuff I thought was important isn’t worth my health. Now I write in a diary every day, work out and meditate.”

Hopefully, Lauren and Camila can set their differences aside so that they can work on their struggles together. What are your thoughts? Do you think Lauren Jauregui and Camila Cabello are in a feud? Sound off below in the comments section.
