Kristen Stewart gave an interview in the weeks before her very, very public split with longtime boyfriend and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, and reading it is a reminder of some of the very down downsides of being a celebrity.

It seems Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were both broadsided by their breakup after Stewart was snapped canoodling with Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, but few of us have to live out our bad decisions as a twentysomething in front of a worldwide audience.

And then there is a newly-released candid interview Stewart did with British Vogue, wherein she admits to some very intimate details of the pair’s relationship, and muses that she wanted to have babies with him before everything went so wrong, so very very publicly.

Quotes from Stewart’s article just ahead of her breakup with Pattinson unabashedly reveal her feelings for her fellow Twilight star, and the breakup context just makes the interview ever more awkward for both stars as well as readers — Stewart says:

”My God, I’m so in love with my boyfriend. I wish he were here now. I think I want to have his babies … I love the way he smells. And him me. Like, he loves to lick under my armpits. I don’t get this obsession with washing the smell off. That smell of someone you love – don’t you think that’s the whole point?”

Of the constant media scrutiny that eventually led to the demise of the Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson pairing, the actress says of the press:

”They’re all f***ing nuts. It changes every day. This whole, am I fashionable, am I not? Am I going out with my boyfriend, am I not? There’s never one constant … Of course it’s seductive and important, what people think about you, but you can’t pay attention. They can say what they want.”
