Does the apple fall far from the tree? If you ask “The View’s” Joy Behar it doesn’t when Honey Boo Boo is concerned. Everyone’s favorite sensationalized 7-year-old beauty contestant has been a topic of discussion for weeks now, as is her mother. From celebrities to socialites it seems like no one can get enough of the train wreck TLC reality show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.”
In an interview with the Huffington Post, Behar took it a step further and predicted that the future may be grim for Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, if she doesn’t clean up her act. Behar counters the pop cultured fascination with Honey Boo Boo:
“What’s little Honey Boo Boo going to grow up to be? That’s what I want to know?” Behar asks. “She’s going to be a fat kid; she’s going to grow up to be a big fat woman. She is, I can tell. She’s just a kid, but you see the genetics are right there. She’s going to have large boob boobs — Honey Boobs Boobs.”
Although Behar lacks tact in her statement; she does have a point. Alana who’s known for being a proud “redneck” and chugging “go-go juice,” a mix of Red Bull and Mountain Dew, consistently refers to herself as “fat” on the show, which says a lot about how the 7-year-old perceives her image and the world around her. Even socialite Kris Jenner had something to say about the show, calling Honey Boo Boo’s mother, “classless.”
It shouldn’t be ignored that mother June Shannon has initiated a weight loss system in the household, but Behar still says that it isn’t enough for Alana’s health issues. “Wait until she grows to a 400 pound woman!”

Well when u put urself in the public eye u subject yourself to public opinion… i do think that she should have aimed her comments toward the mother and not the child tho…. however what do you expect, the mother obviously does not hold much value to health or appearance so there is no reason why SHE would pass that along to her children its sad really… on the flip side tho… i dont eat the healthiest and have a soda addiction but i dont allow my children to drink soda or even cool aid… mostly water and naturak fruit drinks and candy/junkfood for occational treats…. so, you can still teach your child good habbits even if you havent mastered them yet…. but that takes acknowledgment
I'm disgusted to say the least of Joy Behar and Kris Jenner attacking a 7 year old. Joy you are no thin woman yourself. and lack CLASS and Kris you have 3 trashy daughters, and 2 more in the making. Meet the Kardashians disgust me and should be cancelled. Kim is nothing but a SLUT, Khloe is a trash talking trucker mouth, Kourtney spits out babies from a loser boyfriend, You make millions off your daughters trashy ways and have 2 more following in their sisters foot steps and a husband who looks like plastic from all his surgeries.
