Jenna Dewan: Channing Tatum Opens Up About Sex Life, Credits ‘Communication’

Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum are one of Hollywood’s most beautiful couples, and most people probably imagine that they have a very romantic personal life simply from the photos and bits of their lives they share on social media. But Channing recently opened up about the couple’s sex life and wasn’t afraid to share intimate details, saying that the key to their relationship is that they have excellent communication.

Tatum says that when they’re angry with one another, they stay away from the bedroom. Talking things through is important so they can leave the anger at the bedroom door.

“Yeah, she’s really athletic. We get down! We truly have all different kinds of sex. Sometimes it’s like, ‘Look, you gotta get this done. I gotta go to work.’ And that’s a real thing. To me, that’s us being completely open. … Then you have full-on, just completely totally connected otherworldly connections…We communicate very well,” Channing said.

The sexy couple caught the attention of Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke last year, who met them and later admitted in an interview that she would be down with having a threesome with the beautiful duo. The attention is something the pair must be used to by now, as Channing famously worked his body in the Magic Mike films and Jenna has shown us her sculpted abs in various projects (which are usually dance-related). Jenna is featured in the latest issue of Women’s Health, where she talks about her favorite workouts and the fact that she’s okay with so many women lusting after her husband.

“I think he’s the sexiest thing in the world, so of course I get why other people think it. It’s always fun and we laugh about it,” Jenna Dewan Tatum says.

Jenna says that when it comes to staying in shape, she likes to stick to quick and efficient rather than hours-long workouts because it helps her keep to her schedule.

“I love 45-minute power workouts. I get in, do my thing, and then I’m able to go pick up Everly from school. It gives me energy…I need somebody to motivate me. I like the motivation of having somebody watching over and giving me inspiration,” Jenna Dewan Tatum told Women’s Health.

Of the couple’s Instagram accounts, Jenna says that the things they post are just “highlights” from their lives and don’t represent every day. A self-described homebody, Jenna says she and Channing would rather stay home with Netflix than go out to dinner parties or rub elbows with the Hollywood elite. Most of the time, she says, they’re “boring.”

Jenna Dewan Tatum says that while she loves her life, she realized pretty quickly that attempting to be perfect at every aspect of it was wearing her down quickly. After that, she admits, she had to learn to take a break and take care of herself.

“I realized that if you try to be the perfect mom, perfect wife, perfect actress, you start to feel overwhelmed. You shut down. I got that really fast…I was running back and forth from breast-feeding to filming a scene, overextending myself on every level…You have to be fulfilled in order for everyone else to be fulfilled. I’m a way happier, more pleasant person to be around when I take time for myself.”

Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum made headlines earlier this year when he shared a sweet message about Jenna on Mother’s Day, saying that the most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother. Jenna later shared photos from her special day that included her daughter and the gifts she received from her family.
