Taylor Swift Horrified But Kanye West Is Untouchable — Lawsuit Over Famous Video Would ‘Likely Fail’
Hollywood Life reports that Grammy-award-winning singer-songwriter Taylor Swift was “horrified” when Kanye West showed her naked in his “Famous” video.
“Taylor is livid. Taylor is horrified [by the “Famous” music video]. Taylor didn’t know what to do when she heard about what Kanye did.”
A lawyer told the publication that any suit brought against Kanye would “probably fail.”
The celebs “can sue for defamation of character and for misappropriation of name and likeness, but it will be hard to prove damages in court.” Taylor and the other celebs could pursue a class-action lawsuit against Kanye, but it would “likely fail.”
Kanye has previously butted heads with Taylor, first when he notoriously interrupted her acceptance speech at an award ceremony in 2009, jumping on stage and making a speech that implied that Beyoncé should have won instead.
“Taylor, I’m gonna let you finish… Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time.”
More recently, Kanye scandalized Taylor Swift fans and many reporters of feminist persuasion when he wrote a lyric referring to Swift as a “bi*** [he] made famous.” As if that wasn’t enough, Kanye also rapped that he thinks the grateful Swift might have sex with him at some point — Kanye “made that bi*** famous,” after all!
“I feel like me and Taylor Swift might still have sex. Why? I made that bi*** famous.”
Kanye hit back against critics who accused him of misogyny, saying that bi*** is a term of endearment in hip-hop.
It’s perhaps not completely surprising that Kanye has now included Swift in a video for a song called “Famous” that shows him in a post-sex lineup with a bunch of celebrities. Chris Brown, Amber Rose, Kanye West’s wife Kim Kardashian, and even Ray J, Kim’s co-star in her notorious sex tape, also appear in the orgy lineup.
Donald Trump, George W. Bush, and Vogue editor Anna Wintour also make appearances in “Famous.”
Kanye has openly invited his “Famous” video co-stars to sue him. West tweeted,
“Can somebody sue me already #I’llwait.”
Memes reflecting on how much legal action Kanye could face have already exploded on Twitter.
Vanity Fair interviewed Kanye about the video and the rapper stated that his goal was not to express support or distaste for the people in the video, but to comment on fame.
“It’s not in support or anti any of [the people in the video]. It’s a comment on fame.”

Chris Brown has already spoken out praising Kanye but bemoaning the fact that he was the one who got a waxwork with a plumber’s crack showing.
“Why I gotta have the plumbers butt/ crack showing WAX figure? This n*gga KANYE CRAZY, talented, but crazy.”
Beyoncé, who previously earned Kanye’s praise for having one of the “best videos of all time,” is reportedly happy that she and husband Jay Z were not featured in the video, reports Hollywood Life. Apparently, Jay Z and Beyoncé believe they are “more famous and prestigious than everyone in the video combined” and feel relieved that Kanye didn’t put them in his “little circus”!

He knew Jay would have have blown a gasket and made his life and career extremely difficult had he decided to put him and Queen B in his little picture circus. Taylor Swift was last seen strolling on a British beach with new love Tom Hiddleston, reports The Sun.
The publication reported that Swift “looked unimpressed” as she strolled along with Hiddleston and his mother.
She appeared to be playing the well-mannered girlfriend and let 35-year-old Tom’s mum do the talking, while she held his hand and occasionally stared into the distance… Taylor seemed to be less than thrilled with this part of her UK trip.
