Number Haircuts Help Identify Identical Quadruplets
Keeping track of four six-year-old boys can be a daunting task. It’s nearly impossible when those four boys are quadruplets. Well, that is unless you give yhem number haircuts to help tell them apart.
Parents in China’s Guangdong province came up with an ingenious solution to make it easier for teachers to tell their kids apart. They gave each of the boys a different number haircut.
But the nifty haircuts aren’t just for the teachers. Tan Chaoyun, the boys’ mother, said that she also has a hard time telling her sons, Jiang Yunlong, Jiang Yunxiao, Jiang Yunhan and Jiang Yunlin, (who apparently also go by one, two, three, and four) apart.
”My sons are identical, even to me…. Even now, their father can’t tell which one is which. Sometimes, he punishes the second one for something the third one has done.”
The director of the moral education office of Shangwu Primary School said that the identical quadruplets have also been put into separate classes to make sure that there aren’t any mix-ups.
“Since the quadruplets are too similar in their looks, manners, smiles and voices, we cannot differentiate them, and thus we arranged them in four different classes after we got their parents’ agreement.”
Do you like the idea of number haircuts for identical twins, triplets, and quadruplets? Or do you prefer the “Thing One” and “Thing Two” onesies?
