‘Big Brother 18’ Spoilers: Twists Leave ‘BB18’ Cast Reeling After Week 1 Nominations

Big Brother 18 spoilers came out in droves during the second episode of summer 2016. The BB18 cast was introduced during the season premiere, revealing that there are 16 houseguests competing for the $500,000 prize. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, they were split up into teams of four and forced into competitions immediately. Three teams secured safety, leaving one team to fight for survival during the Thursday, June 23 episode on CBS.

The team led by returning houseguest Nicole Franzel lost out on the first episode challenges, meaning one person from the Freakazoids team would be going home during the first BB18 eviction. Nicole Franzel, Corey Brooks, Tiffany Rousso, and Glenn Garcia were the cast members facing a difficult day in the house. All of the action had already been pre-taped by producers, though, so it wasn’t as though host Julie Chen was presenting a live eviction for fans watching on TV.

The biggest of the Big Brother 18 spoilers from Thursday night is that Glenn Garcia was evicted from the house. He lost the challenge competing against his three teammates, ensuring he was the first houseguest to receive his walking papers this season. Glenn had a really tough time competing in all of the challenges, making it easy for many fans on social media to predict he would become the first BB18 eviction.

With Glenn evicted, it was revealed that Nicole Franzel, Corey Brooks, and Tiffany Rousso would then be deciding who would become the first Head of Household for the season. They were the three members of the losing team and this was a consolation prize that the producers bestowed upon them. The first BB18 HOH is Nicole, after the other two newbies allowed her to take the power. The decision was left up to the remaining members of Freakazoids, and this is what they came up with.

There is a lot of drama inside the house already, which can be considered as additional Big Brother 18 spoilers emerging from Episode 2. Paul Abrahamian was very upset at Corey Brooks for allowing a returning houseguest (Nicole Franzel) the opportunity to seize power in the house. It seemed like a very poor strategy for Paul to do this, as he then put himself at risk of getting nominated. With Corey on the same team as the current HOH, he could easily get in Nicole’s ear about who to name as the nominees.

The Week 1 nominations for eviction are Jozea Flores (Team Big Sister) and Paulie Calafiore (Team Category 4). Jozea and Paulie likely had the opportunity to save themselves in a Veto competition, but there is also a special new game that will debut during the next episode of the show. It’s unclear how much has already been taped, as producers had access to the BB18 cast for a week before the season premiere even aired on CBS. The houseguests all entered the game on Wednesday, June 15, which serves as Day 1 of the summer 2016 season.

The live feeds for the show turn on once the West Coast episode concludes on Thursday night. That will be at roughly 10 p.m. PT / 1 a.m. ET, giving fans some more time to go sign up for the feeds on the CBS website. As for the next Big Brother 18 episode, that will air at 8 p.m. PT/ET on Sunday, June 26. It is expected that this is when the new “twist” competition will be seen by viewers for the first time.
