‘The Sims 4’ Upcoming Pack Releases Next Week, Pick Up ‘Kids Room Stuff’ On Tuesday

Just weeks after the release of the latest game pack for The Sims 4, a new stuff pack will release with child Sims in mind. On June 28, the “Kids Room Stuff” pack will launch, giving players new toys for their young Sims including a puppet theater, the Voidcritter Battle Station, and several others. New objects, new clothes, and new media are also included in the upcoming stuff pack.

As with any stuff pack for The Sims 4, “Kids Room Stuff” includes new furniture, create-a-Sim customization options, and decorations. This pack also includes a new collection for Sims to hunt down in the form of the new Voidcritters as revealed on the official site. Voidcritters are collectible cards found in the Sims’ world that they can collect, trade, and use in the new Voidcritter Battle Station. Another object included in the upcoming pack can also be interacted with. The Puppet Theater is something that child Sims can use to entertain their families based on the child’s social skill.

“In another first for the franchise, friends and family will gather around as your child Sim puts on the performance of their lifetime. When the curtain rises, a variety of stories can unfold…”

Of course, gameplay objects are just one part of the “Kids Room Stuff” pack for The Sims 4. Other new objects and items are also included in the pack like new furniture, clothing, and even new media. Bold new bedding, shelves, toys, and more can be placed in homes making the perfect space for child Sims to play. New clothing for children is also included with several options available for younger Sims to show off their personality. Finally, adult and child Sims alike can benefit from the new Tween Pop radio station or the new “BEtween” TV channel.

“You’ll find that objects are aged up in style from the primary shapes and colors that adorn the existing kid’s furniture; the content in this stuff pack helps children start to define their own space. Clothing is similarly expressive and unique, with patterns, logos, colors, and fashions that help tell the world who they are and what they like.”

“Kids Room Stuff” marks the second DLC release for The Sims 4 in the month of June. After a bit of a DLC drought, these two packs are a welcome addition to players of The Sims 4 looking to expand their gameplay. As the Inquisitr reported, the latest game pack lets players build, visit, and even manage their own restaurants. “Dine Out” lets Sims eat at their favorite restaurant while rating their experience. It is up to the owner to make their visit memorable, of course. The “Dine Out” game pack also lets players experiment with new foods, manage employees, and profit off of their eateries for extra Simoleons.

The June 28 release of “Kids Room Stuff” coincides with the end date of the current sale on The Sims 4 and a handful of its DLC packs. On Origin, the base game is just $24 while the game’s expansions are just $20 each. Players can pick up “Get to Work” and “Get Together” for half of their normal price right now. Two of The Sims 4 game packs are also on sale right now, as well. “Outdoor Retreat” and “Spa Day” are each $15 for the duration of the sale.

After “Kids Room Stuff” launches, there is no word on what expansion, game, or stuff pack will release next. The Sims 4 is still noticeably absent of popular expansion themes like pets, seasons, and other common pieces of DLC for the franchise. However, the game continues to expand and improve with each paid pack and free patch. Certainly, players of The Sims 4 can count on new packs releasing in the future.
