Tom Brokaw Leaves Hospital In ‘Great Condition’

Tom Brokaw was taken to the hospital this morning after he felt “light headed.” The legendary news anchor underwent a series of test before being discharged early this evening in “great health.”

NBC News President Tom Capus said:

“After medical evaluation and a round of tests, Tom was pronounced in great health and has been discharged.”

The Inquisitr reported earlier that Brokaw felt “light-headed” while he was on the set of Morning Joe. Brokaw was taken to the hospital “out of an abundance of caution.”

Brokaw, 72, had several people worried when news broke that he had been taken to the hospital. The NBC News special correspondent tried to ease the collective minds of his fans by writing on his Twitter account that “all was well.”

Brokaw wrote:

“All is well Early AM I mistakenly took a half dose of Ambien and made less sense than usual. Made a better comeback than Giants…”

Brokaw has been unusually busy this month with both the Republican National Convention and the Democratic National Convention. He’s appeared on various talk shows including Morning Joe and The Daily Show.
