Meghan King Edmonds Talks Candle Business: Why Jim Was Distracted During ‘RHOC’
Meghan King Edmonds is back for another season of The Real Housewives of Orange County and this time, she’s not back to expose Vicki Gunvalson even more. As it turns out, Meghan felt vindicated last year when Brooks Ayers was caught faking his medical records. During the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion special, King Edmonds revealed that she was questioning Gunvalson’s involvement in everything that had happened, and she hoped Vicki would come clean. Since that reunion special, Meghan hasn’t talked to Vicki. Instead, she’s been focused on her IVF journey and getting involved with a candle business.
According to a new Bravo report, Meghan King Edmonds is now dishing the details on her new candle business. During Monday’s premiere episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Meghan King Edmonds revealed that she and Jimmy had “gotten involved” with a candle business and that they would now be selling candles. And when they got their first shipment, Jimmy seemed more interested in smelling the new scents that talking about his upcoming role as a father — again.

“The scene where I’m going through all of the candles with Jimmy was fun and as you can see, he is preoccupied with the subject right in front of his face – candles! We had just gotten that shipment in our house and we both couldn’t wait to open it and we had already talked about IVF a bunch prior to that, so he was understandably distracted. Additionally, Jimmy is the kind of person that likes to get information and not really ask questions. He’s not a researcher like I am and sometimes a lot of information is too much information for him! I am the complete opposite!” Meghan King Edmonds explains in her Bravo blog.
Many people felt that he was a bit insensitive about the IVF, as Meghan was trying to open up about her feelings, and he kept talking about the candles. But one can imagine that they had talked about IVF for a long time and that they had talked about everything several times. This season, King Edmonds will share her IVF journey with viewers and they already went to one appointment with her.
As for Vicki Gunvalson, Meghan King Edmonds hadn’t talked to her since the reunion special last year. Many of the ladies had expected her to apologize for everything that had happened, but Vicki only gave a vague and general apology for her behavior to the public. So Meghan was surprised to see her at Heather Dubrow‘s party, as none of the ladies had talked to her.
“I had so much fun at Heather’s boat party and thought her idea to have a “love” party was great. I was excited for everyone to meet Kelly, but I was actually shocked when Kelly immediately bonded with Vicki. I warned her that Vicki might be using her since she was the only person left for Vicki to use to weasel her way back into the crew. So far I’m right on point with that thinking…,” Meghan King Edmonds revealed about the yacht party that Heather decided to throw for her husband and their friends.
One can imagine that King Edmonds hasn’t talked to Gunvalson about her IVF plans, as they aren’t as close. Plus, Meghan King Edmonds may hold back in regards to her IVF journey, as her co-star has been very vocal and very critical of Meghan’s decisions and comments about being a mother on The Real Housewives of Orange County.
