Kylie Jenner’s Got The Blues: Reality Star Launches New Fourth Of July Inspired Lip Kit
Kylie Jenner has just announced the launch date for her latest lip kit with colors inspired by the upcoming Fourth of July holiday; Jenner’s hair isn’t the only thing she’s turning blue these days. The new lip colors include two blue shades: “Skylie”- pale blue, and “Freedom”- navy blue.
The reality star announced the newest colors to her fans on Snapchat.

These unique shades are completely different from Jenner’s existing line of colors including mattes, glosses, and metals. Each Kylie Lip Kit includes a liquid lipstick and matching lip liner. The previously launched lip kits were more traditional lip colors like nudes, pinks, reds, bronzes, and purple.
The youngest member of the reality royalty family, Kylie Jenner, is known for taking fashion risks and always switching up her style. The star loves playing around with colored wigs and now she’s adding some fun colors into her lip line!
Kylie isn’t afraid to try bold new trends, so it should come as no surprise that her latest lip colors are blue.
Jenner’s cosmetic company, Kylie Cosmetics, chose the perfect time to launch the lip kits– just before the big Fourth of July Weekend. Guaranteed, these lip kits will be long gone before the holiday even rolls around.

Kylie Cosmetics launched the first lip kit earlier this year with nothing but major success. The website crashed and the lip kits were sold out within minutes. Although the company did hit a few bumps in the road in the beginning months with packaging issues, product discrepancies, and consumer complaints– they seem to have worked out their problems and are on their way to another successful lip kit launch this week.
While it seems obvious that the reality star planned the lip kit launch around Fourth of July specifically, she also revealed to E! News that her sky blue Ferrari was actually the main inspiration for the blue lip line.
“My car gave me a little inspo for this exclusive Fourth of July color.”
I think it’s safe to say, Jenner will be sporting “Skylie” next time she is out for a joy ride in her Ferrari. The colors are nearly identical.
The luxury Ferrari was a gift from now ex-boyfriend, Tyga. When Tyga gifted the car to Jenner on her 18th birthday, it was fire engine red. The star posted a picture to social media after the paint job calling the color “Kylie Blue.” Is the star sending a message to her ex? She’s keeping the car, but she’s wiped any trace of her ex clean.
Newly single Jenner has been seen hanging around another rapper these days – PartyNextDoor. E! Online reported that Jenner and PartyNextDoor were not getting into anything serious, but the two admitted there was a mutual attraction and that they were casually dating. An insider shared details with E!
“Kylie and PND are still dating. They are super attracted to each other. Kylie is really into PND, and it’s taken her mind completely off Tyga. Kylie is happy right now, she feels very drama free without the constant arguing with Tyga. It was always so up and down and with PND it’s very laid back. She likes that a lot.”
Kylie has seemingly moved on from her ex, Tyga, and is taking the makeup industry by storm. More power to ya, girl.
The two blue lip kits, “Skylie” and “Freedom” will be available for sale starting this Friday (6/24). Considering that all of Jenner’s previous lip kits have sold out the day of launching, it may be quite a tricky challenge to get these new shades in your hands by Fourth of July.
