‘General Hospital’ Casts James Patrick Stuart As New Mysterious Character, What Story Line Will He Be Involved With?
Things are about to get even hotter this summer on ABC’s General Hospital with yet another unknown character coming on board. James Patrick Stuart, known for his role as Will Cortlandt on All My Children, is headed to the soap as a mystery man named Theo.
ABC Soaps In Depth has confirmed that the handsome actor will be heading to General Hospital next month with a few details spilled that fans might find interesting. Since his days of AMC, Stuart has had roles on CSI, Still Standing, 90210, and Supernatural. He just recently guest starred on How To Get Away With Murder as well. The GH crew told Soaps In Depth that this mysterious Theo will be involved with Dante, Lulu, Laura, Kevin, and Ava.

This brand new role for Stuart could possibly bring some mystery and intrigue into the already complicated stories involving some of General Hospital’s longtime characters. Fans will have fun trying to figure out what Theo has to do with all of it.
Soap Opera Digest was actually the first to learn about the AMC alum joining General Hospital. The magazine had announced the exclusive news last week. According to them, the actor has already started filming on set. Soaps In Depth had a couple more details and noted that his first appearance on screen will be on July 8.
With his appearance only a couple weeks away, his character, Theo, could have something to do with the mystery that Laura and Kevin are trying to figure out thanks to the clue from Helena Cassadine. There is a good possibility that this will lead them to something that has to do with Laura’s daughter, Lulu, and her husband, Dante.
There are General Hospital rumors flying that Lulu has a child out there somewhere. Remember that Stavros Cassadine took her egg against her will a while back. He could have had Lulu’s embryo and that would certainly explain why there could be her child that she doesn’t know about, as Celebrity Dirty Laundry pointed out. Will Theo have anything to do with this?
It is quite unclear as to how Ava fits into all of this that involves Laura, Kevin, Lulu, and Dante. Right now Huxley has Ava trapped with Nikolas Cassadine at what is supposed to be his home on a remote place in the middle of nowhere. Will Theo eventually show up there?

Ava unexpectedly ran into Nik on the plane to London, and now they are traveling companions. This means that she is now involved in the life of a Cassadine. This mystery that Nik’s mom, Laura Spencer, is trying to uncover may lead her to either Cassadine Island or maybe even to this place where her son is being held against his will. Of course, no one knows that because everyone thinks that Nikolas was thrown through his bedroom window and could be dead.
Upcoming General Hospital spoilers indicate that in addition to Laura and Kevin heading out on their adventure, Dante and Lulu will as well. Their adventures may just lead them to the exact same place. There is also a spoiler that says both Lulu and Laura will be shocked by an unexpected twist that will change their lives. That could very well point to Lulu’s child that she doesn’t know about. This child could be the little girl that Jake Spencer had spent time with on Cassadine Island. This whole ordeal is about to get a little weird.
