‘BoJack Horseman’ Season 3 Sparks Rumors Of BoJack’s Homosexuality, Diane’s Abuse, Etc.
BoJack Horseman is one of the most beloved shows that Netflix has ever produced. Moviefone is one of the sites that have praised the cartoon drama.
“BoJack Horseman is one of those shows you need to see to fully understand — it’s hard to explain just how insightful the show is, when on the outside it’s about a half-man, half-horse, former sitcom star dealing with his fading relevance and growing depression.”
The article adds that as ridiculous as the show may seem, the heart of the show is about how the main character, played by Will Arnett, deals with his loneliness. The first two seasons, especially the second one, have touched the hearts of many.
BoJack Horseman is set to debut its third season on July 22 and fans have been overwhelmingly excited. The Netflix show’s Reddit page has been filled with unconfirmed rumors. One of the rumors that keeps getting repeated is that BoJack will have a gay love affair with Mr. Peanutbutter, the lovable yellow lab who is currently married to one of the other main characters, Diane Nguyen. A user named “Pillsburyboy,” who claims to work for Netflix, has posted about the rumor again.
“You will be seeing another trailer in about a week. This new season is going to be a lot like the latest season of Family Guy in which they sometimes go ‘too far’ with jokes. Some will like it, some will not. Mr. Peanutbutter does leave Diane for BoJack. There is a hilarious sex scene between the two where Peanutbutter says, ‘You are built like a horse, BoJack!’ However, this comes after Peanutbutter and Diane’s divorce.”
Pillsburyboy adds that the third season deals with spousal abuse when Mr. Peanutbutter is constantly being beat up by Diane Nguyen, who becomes an alcoholic. According to the poster (who may or may not be just a troll), Diana’s brother Gary, a sheep, has a more prominent role this season.
At the end of last year, Reddit poster “Horsefandom” revealed details that were somewhat similar to the ones Pillsburyboy revealed.
“After Diane divorces Mr. Peanutbutter, he is left alone, depressed, and turns into a raging alcoholic. He spends some time with BoJack, who is supposed to make sure he doesn’t drink too much. One evening, both of them have a little too much to drink and end up, well … you know.”
“Speaking of Diane She REALLY loses it this season. Not only does she beat up Mr. Peanutbutter, but she has an affair with Hank Hippopopalous … In the final reading, Diane gives birth to a baby yellow lab and this is where she and Mr. Peanutbutter reconcile, although no hint if they remarry again,” says the poster.
It’s important to note that Hank Hippopalous was a Bill Cosby-type character who Diane tried to expose, only to have her life and the lives of her loved ones threatened. It sounds far-fetched, but one never knows. At least one other poster believes the original one may be right about some details.
“Actually, the Mr. Peanutbutter and Diane fight has been talked about on several forums. I’m beginning to think that this is true,” says poster Pantomine13.
