Josh Murray Opens Up About His Nasty Split With Andi Dorfman, ‘The Bachelorette,’ and Joining ‘Bachelor In Paradise’

Two years ago on The Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman, and her winning man, Josh Murray, appeared to have found true love. Their relationship seemed perfect from the outside, matching their perfect tans and their perfect teeth.

But their perfect union ultimately met the fate of many other Bachelor couples, and their happily ever after never blossomed.

However, despite their relationship growing and ending on TV and social media, Josh Murray isn’t afraid to join another reality love show.

Since their split, Andi has written a tell-all book while Josh is currently starring on E!’s Famously Single.

Andi seemed to find peace with how their relationship ended, which was nasty and far from mutual. As she put pen to paper to heal her broken heart, Josh attempts to do the same as he joins seven other celebrities and meets with a relationship counselor.

RealityTVWorld states that the once-happy relationship between Andi and Josh ended in a whirlwind. While Josh didn’t fire back at Andi for some time, her comments about him in her tell-all book provoked him more than it has in the past.

In the book, Andi calls her relationship with Josh “the most volatile and f**ked up” one of her life. She goes on to call him controlling, possessive, and verbally abusive, saying he even called her a “wh*re” for sleeping with Nick Viall while filming the Bachelorette.

While Josh says he hasn’t actually read her book, he has heard the allegations through the news and social media.

“How am I supposed to comment on a fictional story?” Josh told the Constitution. “It saddens me, and it is unfortunate she has chosen to characterize me in such a negative way. I respect the private relationship we had those eight months. I personally choose to go through life building people up, not tearing them down. I sincerely pray for her. I only wish her nothing but the best.”

So what can fans expect from Josh Murray on Famously Single? Glamour recently spoke to Josh about his current venture into reality TV.

“I went on the show to learn more about myself, to learn how to put myself out there more, and start dating more because I really didn’t do that in the past,” Josh revealed. “Everybody has their own judgements and they can say whatever they’d like, but hopefully the see me as a genuine person who is honestly looking to find somebody and to settle down and eventually have a wife and a family.”

Of course, Famously Single isn’t the only show Josh will be appearing on this summer.

As previously reported by Inquisitr, fans watched Josh and Nick Viall battled for Andi’s heart a few seasons back and could end up battling over the same girl again on Bachelor in Paradise.

When speaking with Bustle, Josh expressed interest in the show.

“Last year, after I ended things with Andi, there were a lot of things going on in my life at that time. I didn’t want to be disrespectful. I also had some family issues,” Josh revealed.

“So [Bachelor in Paradise] wasn’t a possibility last year, but I love the franchise … I do think it can work if you have two people that are truly there for the right reasons and don’t have their own agenda.”

So fans, tell us what you think. Will Josh and Nick be fighting over the same girl yet again on Bachelor in Paradise? And tell us what you think about Josh being on Famously Single!
