‘The Bachelorette’ Spoilers Episode 5: Jordan Gets Defensive About His Ex, JoJo Dumps Two Guys At Rose Ceremony In Uruguay

Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher begins overseas travel with her ten remaining guys on Monday night, but only eight men will make it through the Episode 5 rose ceremony after two romantic one-on-one dates and a sandboarding group date in Uruguay.

Who goes home on the episode that airs June 20 and who moves on to the next round of dates in Argentina (Episode 6, June 27)? Here’s the scoop on this week’s dates, several preview videos, the outcome of the rose ceremony, and some intel on the guys who may be heading to Bachelor in Paradise after Monday night’s elimination.

With just three episodes to go before Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher picks her final three guys for hometown dates, making it through the rose ceremony is essential this week. With only eight roses up for grabs, the guys will do their best to snag as much time as they can with JoJo, but with a few clear frontrunners this season, it becomes painfully clear this week who she has zero interest in.

Before the Episode 5 group dates begin, ABC will air with the remaining moments of Episode 4 (May 30) that ending in the always-annoying “to be continued.” The episode left off with Chad returning to the freak the guys out after getting eliminated on the 2-on-1 date in Pennsylvania, followed by the elimination of three guys during the Episode 4 rose ceremony.

Fortunately, Chad won’t knock anyone’s lights out, but he will get up in Jordan Rodgers’ face and act like a general menace before he finally leaves the show. Although he won’t return to bother anyone again, a few of JoJo’s men will face him on the upcoming season of the Bachelorette. However, there is a bit of good news — according to a previous report from the Inquisitr, Chad only makes it a few days in Paradise before he is given a one-way ticket back to Oklahoma.

According to Reality Steve, after Chad’s departure, JoJo will send Daniel and James F. home and the remaining 10 guys will pack their bags and travel to Uruguay for the first overseas dates of the season.

Robby Hayes and Jordan Rodgers score the two one-on-one dates on Episode 5 and while there will be plenty of romance, there will be some tense moments on Jordan’s date when JoJo asks him if he cheated on his ex-girlfriend.

Before she questions Jordan, they will spend the day swimming with dolphins and packing on the PDA. However, dinner isn’t quite so fun for Jordan, who has been the frontrunner since the premiere when he got the first impression rose.

In a video clip released by ABC (above), JoJo is shown questioning Jordan about possible infidelities with his ex-girlfriend. He looks a wee bit shocked that JoJo knows about his ex, but quickly defends himself and blames his failed football career on his relationship problems.

JoJo accepts his explanation — for now — and gives him a rose. However, she will face some trying times after filming wraps up — several of Jordan’s ex-lovers have come forward with not-so-flattering stories about his alleged affinity for cheating.

Robby Hayes gets the other one-on-one date this week and JoJo reveals in ET‘s video preview below that she “trusts” Robby and he makes her feel alive.” After jumping off a cliff and hanging out in a local bar in Uruguay, JoJo gives Robby a rose.

Although Robby quickly becomes a frontrunner, JoJo’s trust in the 27-year-old sales rep may quickly change in an upcoming episode when she finds out that he may have ditched his long-time girlfriend, Hope Higgenbotham, to come on the show.

The Episode 5 group date includes nine guys —Wells, James T., Chase, Vinny, Luke, Alex, Derek, Grant, and Evan — who will go sandboarding with JoJo (video below).

Evan whines about the possibility of getting another bloody nose but the other guys seem to have a great time falling in the sand. While it’s not clear who gets the group date rose, three of the guys on the date will be going home at the rose ceremony.

Who does JoJo send home on Episode 5? Spoilers point to three men from the group date leaving Uruguay without a rose —Vinny Venteri, Grant Kemp, and Evan Bass. Although ABC has not confirmed the complete cast list yet, there are rumors that Grant and Evan will appear on Bachelor in Paradise this summer.

The next stop on JoJo’s journey to find love is Argentina, with two more guys leaving on Episode 6 (June 27). Check out the Bachelorette Season 12 weekly episode schedule and travel itinerary here.
