Kim Kardashian is definitely Kanye West’s muse. After rapping about his gal pal on tracks “Way Too Cold” and “Perfect Bitch,” Kanye’s newly-leaked song “Clique” seems to reference Kim’s 2007 sex tape starring a blurry Kim K and ex Ray J.
Ever since Kanye nabbed Kim K away from short-time hubs Kris Humphries, he’s been acting with a kind of pride regarding his new relationship that’s beginning to border on obsession. A few weeks ago, Kanye confirmed that his track “Perfect Bitch” is about Kim, and she reportedly responded that she’s “proud” to be his inspiration for the song.
Now, the new song “Clique” off Kanye and G.O.O.D. Music’s upcoming Cruel Summer album makes another pointed reference to his paramour, though it delves into a part of her history that most loving boyfriends would probably avoid for numerous reasons (and if you can’t figure it out, ask yourself why you’re single).
“Eat breakfast at Gucci. My girl a superstar all from a home movie,” is an exact line from the song.
A little bit of background information: The sex tape between Kim K and then-boyfriend Ray-J was titled Kim Kardashian: Superstar, and some say it made her career. Now we all know that Kanye is proud of Kim’s accomplishments, and he should be as her loving boyfriend. But her sex tape? That ranks among her accomplishments? A video of Kim K having sex with Ray J is something Yeezy is proud of?
