Hillary Clinton’s Daughter, Chelsea Clinton, Gives Birth To Son, Aidan
Proud parents, Chelsea Clinton, 36, and husband, Marc Mezvinsky, have welcomed into the world their second child.
Chelsea Clinton, the former first daughter from 1993-2001, posted on Twitter on June 18 that “Marc and I are overwhelmed with gratitude and love as we celebrate the birth of our son, Aidan Clinton Mezvinsky.”
Aidan has a 20-month-old big sister named Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky.
Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky first met at a Democratic political retreat that took place in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The couple was married 17-years later, in 2010 in Rhinebeck, New York.
Overcome with pride following the birth of their second grandchild, Bill and Hillary Clinton released a statement.
“We are overjoyed to be grandparents again with the arrival of our grandson, Aidan Clinton Mezvinsky, born on Saturday, June 18, 2016.”
“We are all over the moon as Chelsea and Marc welcome Charlotte’s little brother to the world and grateful for our many blessings,” they added. “Chelsea and Aidan are both doing well and enjoying this very special time together.”
“Until it happened to me, I just could not understand the impact,” she was quoted as saying at a campaign event earlier this month.
“It is truly like falling in love all over again. There is nothing like it.”
“It’s transformational, and until you did it, it is hard to know,” she added. “And it has for me been an absolutely life-changing experience.”

In the months preceding Aidan’s birth, Chelsea staunchly campaignined for her historical mother. An elated Chelsea Clinton shared center stage as her family basked in the magnitude of Hillary’s recent presidential nomination. Mere days afterwards, the only child of Bill and Hillary would give birth to her second.
“I really wish my mom could be here tonight,” Clinton continued. “I wish she could see what a wonderful mother Chelsea could become and meet her beautiful granddaughter Charlotte. I wish she could see her daughter become the Democratic Party’s nominee.”
All seems well for America’s “first-family” these days. However, as Chelsea and Husband Marc celebrate their new arrival, serious political work awaits the Clinton’s pursuit to this November’s election.
