Mila Kunis Talks Motherhood On Set Of ‘Bad Moms’ As Star Gets Set To Welcome 2nd Child
Before news spread that Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher really are expecting their second child, Mila talked to reporters on the set of Bad Moms about her experience as a mother.
Kunis’ role in the movie, although a bit extreme and far off from her own experience as a mother, is an identifiable role seeing as she portrays a mother who is “stretched too thin and snaps under the pressure of perfection” while living her suburban life.

PopSugar shares Mila’s words about what it has really been like in the first year raising her adorable daughter Wyatt alongside husband Ashton Kutcher. The star admits that for the time being, with only one child at home who is under the age of 2-year-old, she’s in a sweet spot of motherhood.
“I only have one little human. She’s not so bad. I have an amazing husband and my parents live in same town as I do… but she’s only 17 months old. She’s rambunctious but she’s not there yet where she’s two and a half and I’m like ‘Holy s**t, this is demon baby.'”
The raven-haired beauty also shares about how she believes parenting has changed over the years and how the movie Bad Moms is simply an over-the-top comedic representation of that fact.
“I think people like to know they’re not alone. Nowadays, if s**t’s going wrong and I call my best friend and I’m like, ‘I don’t know, this color is coming out of her nose and I’m pretty sure she’s dying.’ And it’s okay to do that now, but I don’t know if it necessarily was okay before. I think this movie brings light to that.”
Kunis also draws attention to a negative issue that a lot of women and parents in general face. The constant need to compare and compete to be the best mom or best parents to a child can be draining and take away from the enjoyment of just being a mother to a developing being, no matter at what speed that little being does develop, learn, and grow. Mila sheds light on the issue in her chat with the publication.
“It’s the competitive energy that is so destructive. It’s just like you said — we’re all in it together. You only are a mommy in this way for such a brief amount of time anyway that you don’t wanna look back and be like, ‘Why did I care about that stupid nonsense?'”
The confirmation of the couple’s second pregnancy came late last week after several gossip sites had noticed a bit of a tummy on Mila in a recent picture. Following this, the star’s rep finally admitted to the news. The Telegraph additionally shared about Kunis’ life before marriage and motherhood and how she feels her experience in her 2o’s was necessary to bring her to the point of being ready for her own family.
“I travelled through all my 20s, and I was very selfish, in a good way, not, like, in a way that I regret. In a great way. And I think having a kid made me realize how incredibly selfless I want to be.”

It’s clear that both Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are all about ensuring their daughter Wyatt has a wonderful and supportive upbringing. The two were adamant from the time Wyatt was born that they were not alright with their daughter being photographed constantly by paparazzi and therefore shared photos as they chose to. Now that they have a second child on the way, the star couple will likely continue with this choice in order to raise their kids as normally as possible.
