‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Sharon’s Worst Nightmare Comes True — When Will The Truth Come Out?
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) will be faced with the difficult choice to reveal the truth about her son, Sully, or face a breakdown in the mental health. It’s not healthy for Sharon to hold a secret of this magnitude. It spells nothing but trouble for her, especially considering that Sage Newman’s (Kelly Sullivan) ghost has been haunting her, demanding to know why she didn’t tell her husband, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about Sully’s true identity.
Soap Opera Digest reports that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is the only person (alive anyway) that knows that Sully is really Christian. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Mariah expressed concern that this secret will end up causing Sharon to have a nervous breakdown. And, let’s face it; Mariah’s concern for her mother’s mental health is valid considering the stress she is currently under.

The Young and the Restless head scribe, Chuck Pratt explains that Sharon realizes that Sully’s biological mother died, and believes he actually belongs to her. What she hasn’t considered quite yet is that she is robbing Nick or possibly Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) of the chance to be his father.
“What this would do to Nick would be devastating and she might even lose Faith in the bargain. But it always goes back to Dylan (Steve Burton), he love for him, her love for their family that they put together out of the dust of fractured relationships. This child is keeping them together. How could she rip him from the only world he knows?”
Sharon has maintained sanity until her daughter suggested she talk to someone else (like Kevin [Greg Rikaart]) about the mess. The Young and the Restless spoilers indicated that at this point, Sharon refuses to let anyone else in the loop, as she is terrified that the more chance for more people to find out. Her biggest fear is everyone finding out, with Dylan being the last to know.

Even though Sharon knows Sully isn’t her child, she fully plans to raise him as her son. She has no plans to reveal the truth because it would destroy her happiness and tear her family apart. Her worst fears are about to come true, and she will be confronted with the reality of the situation.
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that the week of June 20, Sharon will be awoken by a loud noise in the middle of the night. She goes to investigate what’s going on in her living room, and what she sees stops her in her tracks, and makes her reconsider her plan for secrecy.
“Here, she went downstairs in the middle of the night in a dark house, and Sharon finds an enraged Sage, who appears to be waiting for her. Sharon is confronted by her, and she screams at her that she is taking Sully back t Nick where he belongs. This is Sharon’s worst nightmare, and is the scariest one yet because it’s based on her deep fears and causes her to spiral downward to a point of no return.”
Of course, Young and the Restless will reveal that it is all a horrible dream, but it scares Sharon and makes her reconsider her next move. Is it possible that the confrontation with Sage will compel her into confessing the truth to Dylan or Nick? If she doesn’t tell the truth, will Sage continue to haunt Sharon?
One thing is for sure: when the truth comes out, it will destroy at least two families. Sully faces the real possibility of being ripped from the only family he has ever known, and Nick could learn that Christian was never his son.
