Calvin Harris Drops ‘This Is What You Came For’ Video Amid Nude Photo Scandal

Calvin Harris just dropped his new music video for “This Is What You Came For,” which is still destined to become the song of the summer. The song features Rihanna’s vocals and shows a lot of the beautiful singer simply having fun in the music video.

Harris, 32, just dropped his new music video on Thursday night, according to reports. The Scottish DJ also hinted to his fans that he would drop some new music and remixes sometime today or in the near future. Harris’ new music video opens up with shots of a desert, an empty warehouse, and a forest. Then it shows Rihanna dancing around in a silver shimmery jumpsuit and a decorated high ponytail.

There are plenty of laser beams and strobe lights flashing around as the singer dances around in an empty cubed that features different shots like a desert, a packed nightclub, and an open road. Of course, there are lightning strikes, as seen on Calvin’s social media photos and Taylor’s Coachella jacket. Fans will also get to see Calvin standing around and looking creepy at different points of the music video, as the DJ is hardly featured in his own music videos. It’s a music video with a very simple concept that was directed by Emil Nava.

However, some fans may be disappointed since they expected more from a video that was once heavily promoted by Calvin’s ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Other fans may have expected it to be as epic as Calvin Harris and Rihanna’s music video for “We Found Love.” But, there are some who may like the simplicity of the music video.

It seems like the focal point of this video is Rihanna since the lyrics go, “Baby, this is what you came for/Lightning strikes every time she moves/And everybody’s watching her, but she’s looking at you.”

On Thursday, June 16, Harris took to Twitter and Instagram to tease the beautiful shots of Rihanna in his new music video shortly after he deleted those photos of Swift. “This Is What You Came For” currently sits at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100. The two first collaborated in 2011 with their hit song “We Found Love” and “Where Have You Been,” which hit No. 1 and No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Go back in time and check out both of the heavily Rihanna-focused videos below.

Not only is Calvin dealing with the aftermath of his ex-girlfriend dating actor Tom Hiddleston, but he’s also dealing with a nude photo scandal. According to the celebrity gossip blogs, Calvin sent nude photos to various girls while he was dating Taylor. Now, someone is attempting to sell a photo of Calvin’s penis, according to a Radar Online report.

The alleged photo shows a “shirtless man sprawled on a bed, holding his erect penis.” The person knows that it’s Harris in the photo because the face is visible and the “facial hair matches [Harris’] usual scruff.” There’s also a mole that matches the one Harris has in his lower waistband and a hint of a tattoo, similar to Harris’, on the right forearm.

Supposedly, the photo was sent to a female music executive in Los Angeles, claims the source. But Gossip Cop has debunked this report and said that it’s not true. Harris’ rep told the outlet that the report is a “total lie,” as he never sent illicit photos to a female music executive.

This isn’t the first time that Calvin was involved in a nude photo scandal. Back in 2015, reported nude photos and one video from his steamy photo shoot with Emporio Armani underwear were sent to various women by Calvin himself, which was supposedly leaked by an anonymous source. The photos were then shopped around to various porn sites. Calvin said that he would sue if the photos were to ever leak.

But let’s get back to the music because that’s what he wants us to do. What are your thoughts on Calvin Harris’ new music video starring Rihanna? Sound off below in the comments section.
