Ariana Grande Debuts Pink Hair, Revives Lolita Look For New MAC Viva Glam Campaign

Ariana Grande was dark and devious when it came to her latest release titled Dangerous Woman. The 22-year-old singer swapped out her Lolita dresses for a dominatrix bunny costume. Now, it looks like Ariana is slipping back to her old style for her new MAC Viva Glam campaign.

Now, Ariana Grande looks like a living and breathing Lolita doll in the second part of her Viva Glam collection with MAC Cosmetics. In the new photos, the singer is seen wearing pink from the tips of her hair right down to her flirty Mary Jane shoes. Grande has just announced that she’s adding a new lipstick and gloss to her popular two-piece Viva Glam set.

On Thursday, June 16, Ariana posted an Instagram photo of herself posing alongside a blown up photo from her ad campaign. She’s seen wearing an oversized distressed denim shirt with black thigh-high boots and her signature ponytail.

In the new ad campaign, Grande is seen wearing a bright pink matte lip color that has features a bright orchid shade mixed with it. The lipstick will sell for $17 at participating MAC stores and at maccosmetics.com, and will include the new Lipglass for $16. The new gloss will feature a nude pink shade with a shimmery finish that you can wear alone or over your favorite lipsticks. But, you will have to wait for both products to hit stores on September 8.

In the photo, Ariana Grande is rocking pink streaks in her signature ponytail while wearing the bright neon lipstick. She’s also seen wearing a light pink sweater with matching light pink ruffled socks and hot pink Mary Jane platform shoes. She tops off her look with an oversized pink bow in her hair and nails that match her lips.

Every cent from the sales of Ariana’s products will benefit the MAC Aids Fund, which goes directly to AIDS/HIV research. Ariana was first announced as the face of MAC’s 2016 Viva Glam campaign back in October, 2015. Then, she was seen rocking a bold look that featured a dark plum matte lipstick and a light pink glittery lip gloss. The ads also foreshadowed that Ariana was about to show off her sweeter and lighter side soon.

On Snapchat, Grande teased the new colors with her fans, which are totally different from her original shades. She’s also seen wearing the same outfit that she wore in her latest Instagram photo.

Earlier this month, the “Dangerous Woman” revealed to her fans that she has gone blonde for the summer. Ariana took a break from her recent tour stop in Paris to get blonde highlights in her long straight hair, which she showed off in an Instagram post.

Then she took to Snapchat to show off her new blonde hue in a series of silly and adorable clips that featured the popular dog filter. In one of her Snapchat photos, Grande revealed that she’s still alive and kicking.

This isn’t the first time that Ariana has gone the lighter side. The singer, who was known for her iconic red hair during her Nickelodeon days, wore a platinum blonde wig in her “Focus” music video, which debuted last November.

“I wanted to do my ponytail in white for a while, or in a different color,” she previously explained to ET Online. “I actually was sitting opposite my Nonna and I was like, ‘Nonna, I love your white hair. It’s so beautiful.’ ”

Grande has only played around with her hair color a few times in the past. She is still, however, very committed to her ponytail. Last month, Grande boldly told Billboard that she still will walk around with a ponytail when she’s 95-years-old.

“I will say it until I’m an old-ass lady with my tits out at Whole Foods. I’ll be in the produce aisle, naked at 95, with a sensible ponytail, one strand of hair left on my head and a Chanel bow. Mark my words. See you there with my 95 dogs.”
