Nick Jonas, Shay Mitchell Dating After Steamy Music Video?
There is no doubt that the sparks were totally flying in Nick Jonas’ new music video, which featured Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell. Fans were convinced that the two stars are dating after their wet and wild music video dropped last week.
Last Friday, Jonas dropped his new album, Last Year Was Complicated, while tweeting a preview of his sizzling hot new music video, writing, “You know I couldn’t drop a new album without a new a video too.”
Meanwhile, both he and Shay fed into their fans’ curiosity with a cute and flirty Twitter exchange.

Shay Mitchell and Nick Jonas could be the hottest young Hollywood couple ever – if they were dating. The two were seen making out in the shower in Jonas’ new music video for “Under You.” Mitchell opened up to Elite Daily on her current relationship status with the singer. Before shooting the music video, she said she wasn’t too familiar with the Jonas brother.
“His team called my team and they asked. And I, of course, wanted to hear the song first and I fell in love with it. I mean his whole album is amazing but ‘Under You’ is obviously my favorite. I was really excited, I thought it would be fun and different from what people see me on ‘Pretty Little Liars’ and it was just a really fun collaboration.”
So, it looks like Shay and Nick had to go from complete strangers to make-out buddies. Not strange at all, if you’re both attractive and single people. Now Shay is addressing those romance rumors that their fans have started.
“Nick is a friend of mine now, he’s awesome. It’s just really cool because we collaborated on something like that… I’ve only seen him twice after [shooting the music video] since we’re both so busy, but he’s such a great person and it was really fun to work with him.”

It seems like Nick Jonas has been the center of dating rumors for the past year. Since his split from Olivia Culpo, Jonas has been linked to Kate Hudson, Kendall Jenner, Lily Collins, Selena Gomez, among several other beauties. Jonas was also linked to singer-songwriter Tove Lo after they released their own sexy music video for their duet, “Close.”
However, he has shut the rumors down countless times, insisting that he’s single. Nick recently revealed to E! News that he is in no rush to get into a relationship anytime soon. While talking about his new album, which dropped on Friday, June 10, Nick said he doesn’t have the time to date since he’s currently on tour with friend and fellow pop star Demi Lovato.
“I don’t know if I’m really looking for another relationship at the moment. I think it’s really all about the work right now. I’ve literally had no time. I’ve been so busy, there’s literally been zero time. Maybe at some point, but right now, it’s full steam ahead.”
And despite his recent interview with the Sun‘s Bizarre Column, Jonas took to Twitter to reveal that he’s still single.

The British tabloid revealed the singer’s failed romantic pursuits with Rihanna, the current status of his relationship with Kate Hudson, and his spending time with Lily Collins, the daughter of legendary musician Phil Collins.
“We went out a couple of times. She is amazing. We have known each other for years, just running in the same circles.”
From the looks of the singer’s interview, it doesn’t sound like the JoBro wants to be tied down. And why should he? Nick is one of the hottest male pop stars that’s topping the charts and while not going through a breakdown. He even admitted that he enjoys dating around without being tied down to a certain someone.
“I’ve enjoyed meeting different people and spending time with people with all the cards on the table. All people need human interaction at some level. And at my age, too, dating is important, getting to know yourself by meeting different people, seeing what it’s all about.”
