Brad Pitt Leaves Los Angeles Following Reports Of Money Fights With Wife Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt was recently photographed jetting out of Los Angeles.

As rumors regarding his strained relationship with wife Angelina Jolie continue to swirl, Brad Pitt looked cool, calm and collected when photographers caught him leaving town.

On June 15, Just Jared shared photos of Brad Pitt’s airport arrival, revealing the 52-year-old actor had stopped on his way to catch a flight to help a young girl who had dropped a toy. The outlet also noted that Brad Pitt had been joined by a “team” of security guards as he made his way through the terminal of LAX.

News of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s alleged fights over money hit the web earlier this week, claiming Brad Pitt had become frustrated after Jolie nearly turned down her chance to reprise her role in the Maleficent sequel.

“She was refusing to sign up for the lucrative lead role in the Maleficent sequel even though it will bring in cash they desperately need,” an insider told Radar Online of the couple, claiming Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been “overspending for years.”

“She really wanted to avoid doing it so she can focus on her documentaries and charity work,” the insider explained.

According to the report, Brad Pitt’s wife recently spent time in Cambodia, where she adopted her first son, Maddox, 14, and directed a new Netflix movie, First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers. However, while Jolie is said to be passionate about directing, Brad Pitt was said to be unhappy with her decision to turn down a number of other offers while pursuing her dreams of directing.

“That’s upset [Brad Pitt], who’s pointing out the family isn’t in a position to reject a $30 million-plus paycheck,” revealed the insider.

Although Jolie ultimately chose to sign on for the upcoming Disney sequel, she was said to be reluctant, and at this point, there is no confirmed start date for the project, and she allegedly “continues to drag her feet.”

News of Jolie’s participation in the upcoming Maleficent sequel may come as a surprise to some. After all, just a short time ago, she spoke out about a possible Maleficent 2 and didn’t seem to think there would ever be one.

“I enjoyed it. I just feel like we did this one thoroughly and I don’t think there’d be another,” Jolie said of the original film. “I feel like this is the one, if I was going to ever do a Disney one, this is the one I wanted to do. And I think we’ve done it well.”

One day later, another report surfaced, claiming Brad Pitt’s wife had been “burning up the phone lines” with actor Daniel Craig, whom she was romantically linked to years ago while they were shooting their movie, Tomb Raider.

According to the report, Jolie touched base with Craig after learning he had pushed the United Nations for more funding for defusing land mines and other explosives in conflict zones.

“Angelina called him to praise his efforts, and the pair have been blowing up the phones ever since,” an insider told Radar Online. “Angie and Daniel always got on well and are thrilled they’ve reconnected over a worthy cause… What their respective spouses think about this ancient hookup being revitalized remains to be seen, but for now Angie and Daniel are talking on the phone a lot.”
