Gwen Stefani Is ‘Begging’ Blake Shelton To Join Her During Her ‘This Is What The Truth Feels Like’ Tour?

Gwen Stefani is reportedly begging her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, to go on tour with her.

As she prepares to embark on a months-long tour, the This is What the Truth Feels Like Tour, a source claims Gwen Stefani has grown concerned about the time she will be spending away from Shelton and has suggested he join her.

“[Gwen Stefani] is worried about the idea of spending so much time apart,” a source told OK! Magazine, according to a report by Hollywood Life on June 15. “She’s afraid it’s going to blow up their romance. She wants to keep an eye on Blake.”

Gwen Stefani certainly has reason to have trust issues. After all, her former husband, Gavin Rossdale, reportedly cheated on her for three years with their former nanny, Mindy Mann, right under her nose. As an Us Weekly report claimed at the time, Gwen Stefani was devastated after learning of her husband’s reported affair, but after he denied cheating, she attempted to mend their marriage until ultimately filing for divorce last August.

That said, Shelton is reportedly not on board with the idea of going with Gwen Stefani on her tour.

“Blake loves [Gwen Stefani], but doesn’t want to be her sidekick for two months,” the magazine’s insider claimed.

Weeks ago, amid rumors of an impending engagement, a source spoke out, claiming Shelton had proposed to Gwen Stefani at her Los Angeles home with a $1.2 million Tiffany diamond engagement ring but got turned down.

“[Gwen Stefani] was very touched, but said she had to wait to make sure it was right for the kids,” an insider told Radar Online in late May. “Gwen fears their age will get in the way of long-term happiness… She’s 14 years older than Blake’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert!”

Gwen Stefani is also said to be hesitant to trust the country star and fears that if she can’t give him his first child, he may never be happy in a marriage.

“Gwen wants to trust Blake, but she fears it could come back and bite her,” claimed the insider. Plus, she “believes the time may have passed for her to have another baby.”

At 47, Gwen Stefani is already mom to three sons, Kingston, 10; Zuma, 7; and Apollo, 2, but Shelton, despite being married for four years to Miranda Lambert, has no children of his own.

“She’s worried Blake won’t be happy in a marriage where he might never be a father,” the source explained.

As for why Gwen Stefani may be against a proposal from boyfriend Shelton, she seemed to let fans in on why she wasn’t yet ready during an appearance on The Tommy Show earlier this month.

“Let’s just take it one day at a time,” Gwen Stefani said when asked about a future engagement, according to a report by People Magazine. “Everything’s crazy right now so no, absolutely not.”

“Can you imagine the amount of gossip-y, weird stories people make up?” Gwen Stefani continued of the possibility of becoming engaged to Shelton. “To me, it makes me laugh every day. I actually do Google my name just so I can see the next one that’s gonna happen, because it’s gotten so out of control… The best part about it is it’s hilarious; the worst part about it is that some people actually believe that stuff like that is what’s funny.”
