David Banner Arrested After Standoff In A Washington D.C. Club, Altercation With A Bouncer Caught On Film

David Banner was arrested early Sunday morning after an altercation with a nightclub bouncer in Washington D.C. According to Hip Hop DX, Banner got into an argument with a bouncer at Ozio Restaurant & Lounge before he was told to leave the establishment. When Banner refused to go, he was taken into custody by police.

The argument between David and the Ozio bouncer started when one of Banner’s entourage was told that he could not come into the club. Banner decided to take up for his friend and began arguing with the bouncer about letting the other man in. There are no details regarding why someone from Banner’s entourage was denied entry at this time. Banner has only addressed the fact that his group was mistreated when they were trying to spend some money. Based on the video from the incident, no one from Banner’s entourage was ever allowed inside the club before he was taken away by police for refusing to leave and continuing to argue with the club’s bouncer.

The police report states that Banner threatened the bouncer. They claim that the “Speaker” rapper clenched his fist at the bouncer and said, “I got you, n***a, I got you. You a sell-out, n***a. I got money.” There are also reports that David Banner threw money and credit cards at the bouncer in an attempt to prove his point.

To make matters worse, when police did arrive and tried to get Banner away from the bouncer, he yelled, “I don’t give a f**k about no police!” Banner was ultimately arrested for inciting a fight. Based on Banner’s social media accounts, he wasn’t jailed long. The rapper and activist was back to steady posting on Twitter and Instagram on Monday.

According to XXL Mag, David Banner isn’t going to just let the incident go. Instead, he jumped on social media to share his outrage over the way he was treated in the club on the prior evening.

Banner was sure to get his message on multiple social media platforms. The rapper and activist jumped on Twitter and sent the same message above in a series of tweets. The Ozio Restaurant & Lounge has a Twitter account but did not respond to David Banner’s social media blast after his arrest outside their club.

The incident at the Washington D.C. nightclub was all caught on video and released by TMZ. It’s obvious that Banner felt like he was being mistreated after not being allowed entry into the club. He is pretty famous and just released a new album called The God Box. It’s actually a pretty big surprise for fans that he was denied entry.
