Nick Jonas’ NARB: Nick Explains Weed-Induced Erection [Video]
As seen in the attached photo, singer Nick Jonas is covering his male parts with his hands as Jonas dons a red suit. The photo was taken on July 27, 2014, when Nick showed up at the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards as a presenter. The awards were sponsored by Samsung Galaxy at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, California, but Jonas credits his odd behavior to something altogether different.
Nick said he went to bed that night after trying the weed sucker and felt just fine. However, by morning, when Jonas jumped in the shower, tons of crazy thoughts entered his mind. Nick said everything felt like it was going in slow motion.
“Your life is over. You’re gonna die.”
Jonas called out to his girlfriend for help.
“Babe I need bread, I need some coffee, something.”
Nick said he settled down, and for some odd reason picked out a red suit to wear that evening. It was a decision Jonas would regret, likely because of the attention the suit would call to his man parts — which would be on high alert that evening.
“Out of nowhere I get a NARB. All men get a NARB. A NARB is a non-apparent reason boner. I just don’t know what to do.”
The video has gotten more than one million views. Uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday, June 14, the video’s description explains what all the “high” hubbub is about.
“Nick Jonas tells Jimmy about the time he ate a marijuana lollipop before presenting at the Young Hollywood Awards.”
Jonas explained that when he mounted the stage, Nick stood for about 20 seconds, just staring at the crowd without saying anything. Then Nick thought he would tell a really funny joke that was not in the script that would make the crowd laugh. Jonas spoke about really wanting to pick up his microphone like the person did prior to Nick’s presenting turn, but Jonas quipped that he was a shorter person.
The way Nick pronounced “shorter” made the word come out in a staccato-like voice that Fallon and Jonas had fun making fun of. “Short-ter” was the phonetic sound of how Jonas said the word, making Nick sound like a robot. After getting off the stage, Jonas said he asked his manager if people likely knew Nick was high, and the answer came back as a resounding, “Yes.”
However, folks commenting on the video don’t think it was evident to viewers that Nick was high.
The real question is: What kind of weed lollipop did Nick consume in order to produce an unexpected erection? Those who take pills like Cialis or Viagra probably are interested.
According to the Huffington Post, marijuana can have a differing effect upon male erections, based on the person and the dosage. Whereas some men might get stimulated by small amounts of marijuana, others could find that too much marijuana and too much alcohol could inhibit their erections.
Either way, Nick’s personal and funny revelation about his weed erection is getting interesting responses on social media.
“Nick Jonas said that he heard voices from eating a weed lollipop. Boyyyyyyyyyy.”
