‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Is So Proud Of The Woman She’s Become: ‘Look At Me Now’

Leah Messer is loving the woman she’s become. In a series of new social media posts, the Teen Mom 2 star has been gushing over life after filming the seventh season of the MTV reality series.

After announcing she was buying her own home, Leah Messer took to Instagram with a few selfies.

“There is no greater blessing in life to be able to stand in your very own happiness with who you are and who you are becoming!” Leah Messer wrote to fans on Instagram last week with a photo of herself smiling big. “The amount of joy peace, and TRUE love that I now can feel is empowering within itself. Don’t settle for less than what you deserve. Be YOU, Be a DIFFERENCE! Lets stand TOGETHER for a CHANGE, and teach each other our worthiness and HOW TO: Live Your Very OWN standards! #SetYOURbarHIGH && #NEVERGIVEUP!! Thanks to all who supported me and didn’t give up on me! #ILY #Look@MeNow.”

Days later, on June 11, Leah Messer shared another selfie and praised her all-natural look.

“I love it when I get the chance to round brush and blow out my hair on gorgeous days like today! #SummerTime #LoveMYhair #MascaraOnly I love being ALL #Natural! #LifeIsSoGREAT,” she told fans.

Leah Messer’s selfies continued over the weekend with yet another Instagram post, in which she spoke of a Sunday cruise.

“As I drove around today I was simply mesmerized by how beautiful it was! I’m so thankful for today, and everyday I am given. I enjoyed today! I hope each of you did as well!!!” she wrote on June 12.

In the last year, Leah Messer has faced a number of challenges. Last summer, after being seen on Teen Mom 2 slurring her words and nodding out, Leah Messer checked into a rehab center where she claimed to be addressing issues with anxiety and depression. Around the same time, her divorce from second husband Jeremy Calvert was finalized following claims of drug use and infidelity. Months later, Leah Messer lost primary custody of her twin daughters, six-year-old Ali and Aleeah, to their father, Corey Simms.

As fans saw during Teen Mom 2 Season 7, Simms was awarded primary custody of the twins late last year after initially filing for full custody in 2014, when drug abuse rumors first began swirling.

As part of their new agreement at that time, Leah Messer was only allowed time with her children on the weekends while Simms and his wife, Miranda, cared for the girls during the week. However, months later, the former pair returned to court, and Leah Messer was given a bit more time with the girls.

As for Leah Messer’s relationship with T.R. Dues, whom she’s been linked to since spring of last year, there have been many reports suggesting the two are still dating, despite her frequent denials, but just as she did last season, Leah Messer kept Dues off-camera throughout Season 7.

In addition to her drama with Simms, Leah Messer has also had issues with her second husband, Calvert, whom she recently slammed during the Teen Mom 2 finale for his lack of involvement in their three-year-old daughter Adalynn’s life.
