‘Teen Mom 2′ Star Corey Simms’ Twins Visit A Local Fair As Wife Miranda Denies Divorce Rumors

Corey Simms and Leah Messer’s twins enjoyed a local fair over the weekend. As the seventh season of Teen Mom 2 nears its end, the Teen Mom 2 kids, 6-year-old Ali and Aleeah, spent time with the Simms family, and Jeff Simms shared several photos.

Ahead of tonight’s first half of the Teen Mom 2 Season 7 reunion, Jeff posted a number of photos of Ali and Aleeah, along with a couple of friends, on his Instagram page.

“Road trip,” Corey Simms’ dad wrote in the caption of a photo of Ali and Aleeah on a car ride during the fair on June 11.

Along with a second photo, also on June 11, Jeff wrote, “Aleeah Grace decided she wanted to be a little more daring at the carnival this year and needed a ride partner, aka Poppaw. (Ali was about an inch too short to ride but she wanted to) #aligrace.”

Corey Simms and his ex-wife, Leah Messer, have been co-parenting their kids since splitting in 2011 after just months of marriage, and they’ve had their ups and downs — to say the least.

In 2014, amid rumors of Messer’s alleged drug use, Corey Simms filed for full custody of the twins, and late last year, he was named as their primary custodian. At that point, Messer was limited to spending time with her daughters on the weekends while her ex-husband took care of them throughout the week. Then, earlier this year, they were believed to have come to an agreement between one another which would give Messer more time with Ali and Aleeah.

At that point, Corey Simms appeared to be on good terms with Messer, but as fans saw during Teen Mom 2 Season 7, their good times came to an abrupt end when Simms refiled custody papers which would keep him as the girls’ primary custodian.

In other Corey Simms news, he and wife Miranda were recently caught in the midst of a divorce controversy after a fake Facebook account, claiming to be Corey Simms announced he was now a “single” dad. Luckily, however, Miranda quickly shot the report down with her fans on Twitter.

“That most definitely is a Fake Facebook,” Miranda confirmed in a tweet last week. “Corey and I have a private FB for only family & close friends!”

In a second tweet days later, Miranda added, “Those rumors def aren’t true! We actually celebrated 3 years of marriage yesterday.”

According to a report by Radar Online in March, fans saw less of Corey Simms and his wife during Teen Mom 2 Season 7 due to the ongoing drama surrounding Messer and her alleged drug use.

“[Corey Simms] feels MTV did him dirty,” a friend of Simms explained to Radar Online, adding that Simms believed producers “let pill-popping Messer, 23, off easy.”

“He thinks they had the perfect opportunity to show viewers, ‘This is what happens when you get on drugs, this is the reality.’ Instead, they made it seem like Corey was constantly attacking Leah for no reason,” the source claimed.

In turn, both Corey Simms and his wife decided to film less than they have during past seasons.

“[Corey Simms] told MTV just what he thought about the situation, and said that he and Miranda would not film nearly as much as in past seasons,” the friend revealed. “Producers understood.”

For more of Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda, tune into the remainder of Teen Mom 2 Season 7 on Mondays at 10 p.m. on MTV.
