Patrick Swayze Bombshell: Actor’s True Suffering Before Death From Cancer Exposed, Report Claims

Patrick Swayze died from cancer, but sources close to the actor say he suffered needlessly before his death.

An all-new bombshell report charges that it wasn’t just cancer Swayze died from, but a “broken heart” due to neglect from his own wife of 34 years — Lisa Niemi.

Radar Online reports that some of Swayze’s “closest friends” have come forward to expose what actually happened behind closed doors between Patrick and Lisa. According to the late star’s friends, he lived in his own personal hell — a prisoner in his own home who was beaten, languished in squalor, banned from loved ones, and weighed only 90 pounds at the time of his death on September 14, 2009.

A year-long investigation was conducted by Radar Online, which alleges that the Ghost star had a “dark secret.” His wife was supposedly two-timing him by having “several affairs with both men AND women.”

One longtime friend told the site that Patrick Swayze “loved her,” but they had a “love-hate relationship.” The insider claims that Lisa Niemi “would beat on him and he would beat on the walls and furniture. They fought and I covered up a lot of that — they destroyed hotel rooms, cars, their house… It was abusive.”

Apparently, the physical abuse continued well into the advanced stages of Swayze’s cancer battle. The friend explained that Lisa was undeterred by the fact that her husband was becoming more and more defenseless. She had a tendency to “hit him with stuff — she would claw at his arms and neck. She would punch and slap him,” adding that as “he got sick, he was defenseless.”

The same friend goes on to say that the actor went down from 180 pounds to 90 pounds. Swayze never struck Niemi back because he was “adamant” about not hurting her.

Don Swayze, Patrick’s younger brother, was the main caregiver. If he was working or out of town, Lisa would neglect him.

“Lisa would be gone for hours doing whatever she was doing and Donnie would come in and Patrick would be lying in his own feces and pee,” the pal said.

The friend making these allegations spent several years with Swayze.

Another family insider described Niemi an “evil” moody person who controlled every part of the actor’s life, including his money, film roles, and how much he was allowed to spend at the store.

“He had another friend before me and Lisa had a falling out with him — so she pretty much forbade [Patrick] from ever seeing the friend again,” the source said.

Patrick Swayze’s childhood friend, Charlotte Stevens, said she encouraged him to split up with Niemi over her infidelities.

“We would talk like old friends, like what was going on in our lives and [the affairs] would come up,” Stevens told RadarOnline. She wondered why he didn’t avenge the affairs by having one himself and he said he didn’t want it “used against” him.

According to the report, part of the reason Swayze allowed himself to suffer to the extent in his marriage that he did was because of a promise he made to his mother, Patsy. He agreed to never divorce Lisa out of fear she might reveal some hidden secret that would “ruin” his career.

Joan Leighton, who runs the private fan-based chat room Perfectly Patrick, wrote a post on April 27, 2016, possibly explaining why Swayze refused to divorce Niemi when they talked about her dalliances.

Leighton wrote that “Patsy said to me that she made Patrick promise he’d never divorce Lisa until she [Patsy] was dead … and Lisa threatened to reveal it… and it would be a scandal … that would hurt maybe someone plus hurt the Swayze family.”

Leighton called Niemi a “black widow.”

On top of all that, Lisa allegedly prohibited anyone from seeing Patrick at their California home, called “Rancho Bizarro.” This included his mother and other family members. He apparently wasn’t allowed to leave the residence, either. Another close friend says Lisa everyone at a distance two months before Patrick’s death, and kept him “prisoner.”

Patrick Swayze would often call friends and family in the middle of the night after Lisa Niemi fell asleep.

The reported concluded by stating that all of these events unfolded in the same 2-month period that Patrick Swayze signed a new will, leaving his entire $40 million estate to Lisa Niemi — with nothing left to his family.

People reported in May, 2014, that Lisa married jeweler Albert DePrisco in Palm Beach, Florida. They met in 2012 through mutual friends.
