Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Batman ‘Injustice Edition’ Fascinates The Internet

The new Batman edition of the Galaxy S7 Edge doesn’t really make the smartphone better in terms of hardware, but the internet is still fascinated by the latest version of Samsung’s flagship smartphone. The Verge says the Injustice Edition of the S7 Edge is both absurd and awesome at the same time.

“Let me be perfectly clear: there is nothing special about the S7 Edge Injustice Edition in terms of hardware features or capabilities…But the Injustice Edition (which should really just be called the Batman phone, but isn’t) has a blacked-out color scheme with gold highlights and a Batman batarang symbol on the back where the carrier logo usually is.”

Columnist Dan Seifert goes on to say that the new design makes the S7 Edge look “absolutely dope.” Many commenters after the article would give their hard-earned dollars for one of these right now.

“Just..take my money,” says VirusKA

“That thing sure is a beauty,” says Anotherverge.

As Technabob notes, purchasing the Batman Injustice-themed phone gets you more than just a new design.

“The Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition is a sleek, black version of Samsung’s Android phone, with gold detailing and the very necessary bat symbol on the back. But that isn’t all you get. It comes with even more goodies for your batcave. It also comes with the Gear VR headset, Injustice game credits, and Oculus VR content vouchers.”

Twitter is gleaming with excitement over Samsung’s latest version of the Galaxy S7 Edge.

The newly designed version of the Galaxy S7 Edge is likely to add sales to a phone that has already become a huge hit. Since its release in March, the S7 Edge has won over critics and consumers. CNET, which barely gives products a perfect rating, gave the Galaxy S7 Edge five stars.

“Here’s the phone you should buy right now: This one. What catapults the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge to such heights? Is it the excellent camera, the beast of a battery, the expandable storage or the seductive design that’s worth more than the sum of its parts? Yes, and more.”

Reviewer Jessica Dolcourt was especially impressed with the screen and battery life, which lasts even power users more than 24 hours. The only thing that she didn’t seem to like was the price. However, since its release, many outlets and just about every carrier have offered some sort of deal on the S7 Edge.

BGR recently reported that the Galaxy S7 and, especially, the S7 Edge are more successful than anybody thought they would be.

“For the first time since April last year, Samsung regained the No. 1 spot in the U.S. smartphone market, new research shows. According to a new report from Hong Kong-based Counterpoint Research seen by Business Korea, Samsung accounted for 28.8% of the U.S. market for the month of March,” claimed columnist Chris Smith.

Judging by rumors about the Galaxy S8, some may want to hold off and wait until next year. According to Bloomberg, the S8 could have a screen that folds in half like a cosmetic compact. The phone could be released in early 2017. There may be a second Samsung model that has a five-inch screen that unfolds into a display that is as large as eight inches.

It’s quite clear that Samsung has rebounded from the slump they’ve been in since the release of the Galaxy S5 in 2014. Samsung has been building top-notch products and their efforts are finally starting to pay off again.
