President Obama A Huge Fan Of Clint Eastwood

Clint Eastwood spent the majority of his speech at the Republican National Convention yelling at an imaginary President Obama sitting in an empty chair. Surprisingly, the President, and his imaginary counterpart, weren’t offended by the act.
When asked about Clint’s performance Obama said that he was a “huge Clint Eastwood fan.”
Obama said:
“I’m a huge Clint Eastwood fan. He’s a great actor, and an even better director.”
When asked if he was offended by Eastwood’s performance, Obama added:
“If you’re easily offended, you should probably choose another profession.”
If anything, Obama should be thanking Eastwood for his bizarre speech at the RNC. Eastwood’s performance largely upstaged the speeches by Paul Ryan, Ann Romney, Governor Chris Christie and Mitt Rommey.
After Eastwood’s speech, an “Eastwooding” meme was started on the internet as people posted pictures of themselves arguing with empty chairs. Obama even got in on the fun and posted a picture of himself on Twitter with the message: “This chair’s taken.”
Do you think Clint Eastwood’s speech hurt or helped Mitt Romney?

Clint Eastwood is my favorite actor/director. Initially, I was horrified and saddened by this ghastly performance.
But it ultimately made me look more closely at the Republican National Committee.
How many ways can one say, "mistake"?
Republican convention went off the "cliffs of insanity" with this one.
For heaven's sake, what were they thinking?
Is this a glimpse of what Republican good judgment looks like?
This was the last night of the Republican convention.
And we are given this?
Try as I may, will I ever be able to erase the image of my favorite actor/director playing the part of a demented, crazed old man?
But as bad as this is, what does it say for a Republican Party that can have so little sense as to allow this to happen?
