Kim Kardashian Not Eligible For Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Kim Kardashian may be a celebrity but she’ll never be a star.

Kardashian recently said that she would love to become the first reality star to land a spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. But according to a rep for the The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, that just isn’t going to happen.

The rep said:

“Part of criteria in being honored is receiving awards such as Emmy’s, SAG Awards, Oscars etc. in the category of Television, Live Stage Performance or Motion Pictures… They have to have a career in the business of acting for five years or more.”

And since Kardashian isn’t really an actor, a singer, or an entertainer of any kind, it doesn’t look like she’ll ever by immortalized on the Walk of Fame.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Kardashian does have a few acting credits to her name. She had a part in Disaster Movie, Drop Dead Diva, and will soon appear in The Marriage Counselor. Kardashian has never been nominated for an award, however, and as far as I can tell she has never been praised for her acting abilities.

It looks like Kardashian will have to “break the mold” in order to become the first reality star to land a spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. But according to the rep, that isn’t going to happen anytime soon.

The rep said: ”Can’t really say if reality stars will ever be eligible. Not on our radar right now.”
