Kylie Jenner And PartyNextDoor Heat Up Hookup, More Real Than Rebound Romance [Video]

Kylie Jenner initially seemed to be in a not-so-significant rebound romance with PartyNextDoor. But now the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and her new guy pal are giving their followers hints that the couple is happily heating up that hookup, and it’s more real than rebound, according to Us Weekly’s insider.

“They’re talking and texting nonstop,” revealed the insider. “He’s as into her as she’s into him.”

The mutual romance has resulted in a variety of dates for Kylie and PartyNextDoor, from celebrity parties to energetic activities. Jenner, 18, and her new rapper boyfriend, whose real name is Jahron Anthony Brathwaite, initially were seen together in Hollywood at a comedy show.

That date was followed by an evening of bowling. And then came the biggest indicator that the 22-year-old singer and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star belonged on the new couple alert list, with a public display of affection at Drake’s Memorial Day celebration in Hidden Hills, California. Drake is the one who gets credit for introducing Kylie to PartyNextDoor.

It’s not just Kylie’s fans who thought that the reality TV star was involved in a rebound romance, however. Jenner at first assumed that her relationship status with PartyNextDoor belonged in that category too. But as they’ve gotten to know each other better, the relationship has become deeper, according to the insider.

“They were introduced by Drake. And they were all over each other at his party, even though Kylie initially thought that this would be a rebound.”

One question that always comes up in the extended Keeping Up with the Kardashians clan, especially for the youngest sister: What do the others think about her new relationship?

A friend told Us Weekly that Jenner has dished with her sisters about her romance with PartyNextDoor. However, it’s just a topic among the sisters for now, with the other family members not in the loop about how Kylie feels regarding her new boyfriend. In addition, Kylie hasn’t gotten to the point of putting her relationship with the rapper in a specific category.

But while Jenner is not labeling her relationship with PartyNextDoor yet, she does have definite views on her breakup from Tyga on May 12. That split is permanent.

“They still text and share a group of friends,” shared Kylie’s friend. “But there’s not a relationship-y vibe between them anymore.”

PartyNextDoor previously dated a singer, Kehlani. But since starting his relationship with Jenner, it’s become increasingly significant, with another insider telling Us that Kylie is deeply in love. And that “head over heels” romantic relationship has let her completely put any leftover romantic feelings for Tyga behind her.

“She doesn’t care about Tyga like she used to,” added Jenner’s pal.

As far as her sisters and pals are concerned, however, teasing the 18-year-old about her new boyfriend’s name has proved irresistible fun, a source told Hollywood Life.

Khloe Kardashian, in particular, finds the name PartyNextDoor entertaining, suggesting to Jenner that she seek out a guy with a name such as Steve or John.

“Kylie’s sisters and friends are beginning to tease her about the names of her boyfriends. Now that it looks like PartyNextDoor might be around for a while, Khloe has been joking with Kylie asking why she can’t date someone with a normal name like John or Steve,” revealed the source.

Taking her humor one step further, Khloe also teased Jenner that she should try to follow Kim Kardashian’s lead by finding a boyfriend with a name that starts with the letter K.

“Khloe even jokingly encouraged Kylie to at least find a rapper with a name that starts with a ‘K’ like Kim did!” added the insider.

Kim joined in the fun at Kylie’s expense, with Jenner’s two sisters joking that the 18-year-old chooses boyfriends based on their names, shared the source.

“Kim was making fun of the wild rapper names of Kylie’s boyfriends too. The sisters feel like Kylie is picking guys strictly because of their crazy rapper names. The wilder the name, the more interested Kylie is in dating them.”
