Bobbi Kristina’s Death: Father Bobby Brown Accepts The Blame

Bobbi Kristina died almost a year ago, but people can’t seem to stop talking about it. Now, Bobby Brown says he and Whitney Houston failed their daughter, who died at the age of 22 last July, according to People magazine.

Brown admitted in his recent interview with ABC News that he and his wife “could have been better” when it came to the upbringing of Bobbi Kristina. The interview, which aired on 20/20 on Tuesday, shed some light on the death of Whitney Houston’s daughter.

Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in her bathtub in January 2015. She was then kept in a medically induced coma until July 26 when she died. According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner, she died from a combination of drowning and drug intoxication.

According to a toxicology report, Bobbi Kristina had all kinds of medications and drugs in her system when she was found in the bathtub, from marijuana to alcohol and a cocaine-related substance.

But Brown knows that he can be blamed for the death of Bobbi Kristina. He also added that there was one person who was around both Bobbi Kristina and his late wife Houston at the time of their deaths: Nick Gordon.

“It’s not a mystery to me. The same thing that happened to my daughter is what happened to Whitney.”

But even though Brown stopped short of accusing Gordon of murdering Bobbi Kristina and his wife, he said his daughter’s boyfriend knows exactly what happened the night when Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive.

Gordon lived with Bobbi Kristina at the time she was found unresponsive. But he has repeatedly denied all accusations and has never been charged by authorities. Houston decided to take Gordon in at the age of 12 when he was struggling to live alone.

Houston never officially adopted Gordon, but he was basically raised as Houston and Brown’s son. But after the death of Houston, he and Bobbi Kristina started dating.

But Gordon claimed during an interview with Dr. Phil that he made Houston and Bobbi Kristina’s last few years “as happy as they would be,” according to the Huffington Post. In fact, he said he was there for them as a genuine person so that they could “trust” him and “talk” to him.

“Regardless of what everybody thinks, I made Krissy and Whitney’s last few years on earth as happy as they would be.”

But shortly after Gordon’s appearance on Dr. Phil, Brown filed a $50 million wrongful death civil lawsuit against Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend. According to the lawsuit, Gordon allegedly “ignores this Court’s mandates but freely discusses his role in the incident which led to the horrific injuries to Decedent Bobbi Kristina Brown on public television.”

But Gordon’s lawyer immediately responded to the suit, denying his client had any involvement in Bobbi Kristina’s death. But what Brown didn’t like was the fact that Gordon “freely” discusses his daughter’s last hours before her death.

Brown also revealed his last conversation with Bobbi Kristina, in which he assured that everything would be all right if she wanted to let go.

“The last thing I told her, I just said, ‘Let go.’ I said, ‘It’s OK, you can go with your mom, daddy’ll be all right. I love you. You can rest now’.”

He also added that it’s the “hardest thing” to tell your daughter to let go and added that he wouldn’t wish that same experience on his worst enemy.

“That is the worst pain in the world.”

In his 2015’s interview following Bobbi Kristina’s death, Gordon sat down with Dr. Phil and walked out of the interview, but he then returned and accepted Dr. Phil’s offer to go to rehab.
