Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Are House Hunting

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton may not be expecting a child or engaged, but they are reportedly searching for a home together.

While Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will not be abandoning their current homes, hers in Los Angeles and his in Oklahoma, a source claims the couple is hoping to purchase a vacation home and have been hunting for the perfect spot in Ojai, California.

“They’ve both fallen in love with Ojai, which is a 90-minute drive from Gwen’s Beverly Hills home,” an insider told Life & Style magazine on June 9.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been dating for about eight months and while they aren’t ready to get engaged, as Stefani revealed just a short time ago, they continue to face rumors of a future wedding and plans to welcome family. Stefani has even been targeted by rumors of several pregnancies.

Ojai reminds Shelton “of his beloved ranch in Oklahoma because it’s quiet and rural,” the insider explained. “He would love to be able to have a small ranch and have some horses there.”

Meanwhile, Gwen Stefani “would love to have a 7,000-square-foot house on several acres, including a swimming pool and tennis courts, with access to hiking trails and nature,” the insider added.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton began dating at the end of last year after falling for one another while filming The Voice Season 9. At the time their relationship first began, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton had both just split from their former partners, Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert, respectively.

In July, 2015, Shelton announced he and Lambert were parting ways after four years of marriage and weeks later, in August, 2015, Gwen Stefani and Rossdale revealed they too were divorcing after 13 years of marriage and three children, Kingston, 10, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2.

Since their relationship began, Gwen Stefani has allegedly been pregnant several times. Just days after Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton went public with their relationship, an insider claimed Stefani was expecting Shelton’s baby, and months later, she was said to be pregnant with twins and sporting a baby bump. Still, thus far, no baby has arrived, and while chatting with 94.7 Fresh FM’s The Tommy Show days ago, Gwen Stefani confirmed things were far too crazy right now to be moving forward with an engagement with Shelton.

“Let’s just take it one day at a time,” Gwen Stefani explained, via People Magazine, when asked about the chance of an engagement. “Everything’s crazy right now so no, absolutely not… Can you imagine the amount of gossip-y, weird stories people make up?”

“To me, it makes me laugh every day,” Gwen Stefani continued of the ongoing stories written about her and Shelton’s relationship. “I actually do Google my name just so I can see the next one that’s gonna happen, because it’s gotten so out of control.”

“The best part about it is it’s hilarious; the worst part about it is that some people actually believe that stuff like that is what’s funny,” she added.

As Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton continue to face rumors, they are staying busy with their careers. Since releasing her new album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like, Gwen Stefani has been busy promoting her new music and preparing for her 2016 tour, which kicks off next month.

As for Shelton, he released his new album, If I’m Honest, in May and will soon begin filming on The Voice Season 11.
