Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Getting A Beach Wedding?
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth getting married on a beach in Australia sounds like a pretty pitch-perfect wedding ceremony, and apparently it’s actually going to happen. Us Weekly reports that Cyrus and Hemsworth’s wedding will take place this summer in Liam’s native home of Australia.
Cyrus’ godmother, Dolly Parton, confirmed that Miley and Liam were back together in March earlier this year, after the two spent New Years together, sparking speculation that the two had resumed their relationship. Not only were the two back together, but they were certainly moving forward in their relationship when reports dropped of Miley driving a UHaul to Hemsworth’s house, moving her stuff back in.
Then, Miley really started turning heads when she began publicly wearing her engagement ring — the same ring Liam Hemsworth first proposed with in June of 2012. It was a big moment, considering that the two had pretty much and on-again, off-again relationship for the first three years or so. Then the two officially ended the relationship and called off the engagement in September of 2013.
But apparently, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth spending time together in Australia recently really did wonders for their relationship. The Hemsworth family became much closer to Miley and really took a liking to her, which explains a lot, considering that Hemsworth’s parents and Cyrus’ parents are taking care of all of the wedding duties and details. Liam and Miley get to sit back and relax, and possibly have Billy Ray Cyrus as their officiate — since he jokingly made the offer in the beginning of June.

“Miley wants to get married,” a source close to the couple told People magazine earlier in the year. “His family was very hesitant about a marriage in the past, but they really got to know Miley better when she spent time in Australia a few weeks ago. Everyone seems excited that they are back together.”
Although, Liam Hemsworth has not been confirming any of these details. In fact, he’s gone out of his way to flat-out say that he is not engaged to Miley. Which stands in stark contrast to what Cyrus would have us believe, proudly wearing her engagement ring, along with all of the wedding ceremony rumors. Liam didn’t necessarily claim that he and Miley were never in a relationship — just that they were not engaged. Is it possible that he is simply lying just to keep everyone in the dark until the right moment? Only time will tell.
Liam Hemsworth recently spoke with GQ Australia and admitted that, while their relationship might look complicated from the outside, they are back together and it won’t be hard for fans of the couple to see that.
“People will figure it out, they already have. They’re not dumb.”
“I don’t read or listen to the press,” Liam continued, “and these days I don’t base my decisions on it at all. I base all my decisions on what’s happening in front of me and I’m much happier by doing that.”
The engagement ring Miley Cyrus is sporting is definitely a thing of beauty, and even if the two are not engaged, it’s easy to understand why she would still continue to wear it. The 3.5-carat ring was crafted by Neil Lane and went out of his way to use a old 19th-century stone that doesn’t look contemporary at all.
“I created a gold, very Art Nouveau design with tiny little swirls and diamond details within a floral pattern, so it felt like this beautiful old stone was at the center of a flower,” Lane said in an interview with Racked.
