Blake Shelton Insists Gwen Stefani Take Their Romance Off Social Media, A Sign That A Wedding Is Just Around The Corner?

Blake Shelton wants to keep his relationship with Gwen Stefani off social media.

Although the two stars have been transparent about their romance, Shelton now insists that they stop posting photos of themselves online.

According to International Business Times, Shelton believes that sharing images of their affection might put off fans and hurt their relationship. Stefani, however, does not share the same sentiments.

“He’s asked Gwen to stop posting so many selfies of them,” a source explained to InTouch Weekly. “He just wants to keep their special moments private. It’s the first time they’ve disagreed about something.”

For her part, Stefani is happy about displaying their romance for all their fans to see. In fact, it makes her feel more secure about their relationship, especially after everything she went through with Gavin Rossdale.

Shelton partly agrees with Stefani, though he doesn’t want social media to take over their romance.

“He [Shelton] knows that the public needs to be a part of their love story,” the source continued. “He just doesn’t want to constantly share all these pictures of them kissing or hanging out backstage.”

Of course, there might be another reason why Shelton doesn’t want to keep their relationship on social media. Is this a sign that a wedding is in their near future?

It’s no secret that Shelton and Stefani have battled rumors of a coming wedding. Considering how happy they appear together, it seems like only a matter of time before they tie the knot.

According to Celebuzz, the only thing that is preventing Shelton and Stefani from walking down the aisle is a prenup.

Apparently, the two stars are engaged in a “prenup battle” that threatens to derail their plans for a wedding. Not only does Stefani want to keep her $100 million net worth, but she also insists that Shelton dish out $3 million if he cheats on her.

Blake Shelton is reportedly not happy about this “cheating penalty” in the prenup.

As fans will recall, Stefani has experience dealing with an unfaithful husband. In fact, many speculate that Rossdale’s affair with their children’s nanny led to their divorce last summer.

That being said, Fox News is reporting that Stefani recently put down rumors of a possible engagement and is not thinking about marriage just yet.

“Let’s just look at the last year,” she stated during a radio interview with 94.7 Fresh FM. “Let’s just take it one day at a time. Everything’s crazy right now, so no, absolutely not!”

Speaking of rumors, Stefani had a few comments to share about all the hoopla surrounding her romance with Shelton.

“Can you imagine the amount of gossipy, weird stories people make up,” Stefani shared. “To me, it makes me laugh every day. I actually do Google my name just so I can see the next one that’s gonna happen, because it’s gotten so out of control. I think the best part about it is that it’s hilarious … the fact that people believe it is what’s funny.”

At the same time, Gossip Cop has debunked the notion that Shelton wants to keep his relationship with Stefani off social media.

A source told the outlet that Shelton does not care about posting pictures of his relationship to social media. Indeed, Shelton has continued to upload a number of images that display his affection for the No Doubt frontwoman.

Although it is obvious that Shelton and Stefani’s romance is stronger than ever, it appears as though they are willing to wait a little while longer before exchanging vows. Of course, that could all change in the coming months, especially if their romance continues to heat up.
