‘Love & Hip Hop Houston’ Cast Announced — Who Will Star On Newest VH1 Offering?

Love & Hip Hop is expanding the franchise with a whole new series based in Houston. Rumors about an LHH Houston cast have been swirling for months, with many guesses about who may or may not be filming for the highly anticipated newest city for the VH1 reality TV hit.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is in full swing, and there are rumors that the VH1 series will be adding more than one city. The Inquisitr reported last month about Trick Daddy’s claims that there was filming going on in Miami. Now we know that Houston is the place to be right now, and Love & Hip Hop is not only there, but they are currently filming. There has even been talk that the newest city would premiere later this year, according to Fameolous.

As for the Love & Hip Hop Houston cast, there will be several famous faces. Jhonni Blaze is confirmed to be filming the VH1 reality show and previously appeared on Love & Hip HopNew York. Another reality TV veteran, Mehgan Ellis from Bad Girls Club and Basketball Wives fame, will be joining her.

The promoter, Lil Keith, is on board, as well as rappers Propain, Kirko Bangz, J. Prince Jr., and The Sauce Twins. DJ Eric is also reportedly signed on along with singer Just Brittany. Possibly the most prominent of the Love & Hip Hop Houston cast may be professional boxers, the Charlo Twins.

At this point, it’s unclear who is paired up with whom within the Love & Hip Hop Houston cast or if any of the confirmed cast members are even romantically involved with each other. Mehgan James was reportedly dating Denver Broncos cornerback Kayvon Webster back in January. There are no reports that the couple has split, so maybe fans will get to see an NFL star grace the screens of their favorite VH1 show this season.

Jhonni Blaze has been involved in plenty of drama ever since her stint on Love & Hip Hop New York in Season 4. There were reports that she was coming back to the Love & Hip Hop family but the rumor was that Jhonni would be heading to the Atlanta cast. When she started hanging out with another LHH star, Hazel-E’s troubled ex-boyfriend Katt Williams in Atlanta, the rumors got even more fierce, and many fans are still waiting for her appearance on the show. It looks like she’ll be doing Love & Hip Hop Houston instead but all the same, she’s still doing the same show but just in a different city.

Although there are multiple reports about filming in Houston and rumors that the Love & Hip Hop franchise is looking to expand to Miami, New Orleans, and Houston, Mona Scott-Young still has not confirmed the newest city. VH1 has yet to confirm the show as well, but if the reports are true, fans should be enjoying Season 1 of Love & Hip Hop Houston before the end of the year. Now it’s just a matter of what abbreviation the show will use since LHHH is Hollywood and they are still going strong too.

Are you looking forward to watching Love & Hip Hop in another city with a new cast to follow? When will Mona Scott-Young admit that Houston is filming? Tell us what you think of the casting news for Love & Hip Hop Houston so far in the comments section below.
