Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Honor Muhammed Ali Amid Pregnancy Rumors: Her Dad Drops Wedding Bombshell
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are among those mourning the loss of Muhammed Ali. After recently rekindling their romance, Liam shared a photo on Instagram showing the lovebirds with Muhammad Ali, noted the Daily Telegraph.
“I’ll never forget the day we met the toughest man on the planet,” he wrote.

Three months ago, Miley and her boyfriend were present at the Muhammad Ali celebrity fight night. Cyrus started engagement rumors swirling when she flaunted bling on her ring finger again.
As for the truth of those rumors, the 26-year-old actor commented that he feels the public is not “dumb” when it comes to reading the signals in the couple’s togetherness. Hemsworth first proposed to Miley in 2012, and it’s thought that she is now wearing the same 3.5 carat ring that she sported prior to their split in 2013.
The two began renewing their relationship after Cyrus spent time with Liam and his family late last year. And while they’re appeared together repeatedly since, the fact that Miley and Hemsworth both posted the photo showing them together is making their relationship Instagram official.
“RIP Champ,” wrote Cyrus.
In addition to Miley flaunting the same engagement ring that Liam gave her in 2013, the two have spent time at his brother Chris’ house, according to the Daily Mail.
And Hemsworth offered his own insights on his relationship with Cyrus.
“I guess when I feel something, then I just feel it and I go for it. I make my decisions about what’s going to make me happy, what I think is right and what I want to do — and I don’t worry too much outside of that,” he declared.
“I don’t read or listen to the press – and these days I don’t base my decisions on it at all,” he added.
“I base all my decisions on what’s happening in front of me and I’m much happier by doing that.”
While splitting from Miley the first time in 2013 was painful, the actor has no regrets, pointed out Cosmopolitan.
“Of course it was hard, man,” admitted Hemsworth. “But at the time we were going in different directions and it’s just what needed to happen. We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time – we both needed that.”
The 54-year-old father of Miley is the star of a new show, Still the King, playing a has-been country singer who becomes an Elvis impersonator and pretend minister in order to survive. Billy Ray was candid about his daughter’s rekindled romance and dropped a bombshell in revealing what he sees as his own role in the upcoming wedding.
“[Miley and Liam are] really happy together right now. They know if they need a preacher, they’ve found one.”
Now Cyrus is going one step further when it comes to wedding ceremonies, volunteering to officiate.
“I will dress as Elvis Presley and do your wedding,” Billy Ray teased. “I am a hooker. I can be bought.”
In addition to sporting her engagement ring again, Miley is planning the couple’s wedding, a source told Us Weekly.
As for the pregnancy rumors that persist, an insider revealed to Hollywood Life that Cyrus wants a baby and to be married to Hemsworth before she starts her role as a coach on the next season of The Voice.
“Miley is very excited for The Voice… She also would love to be married, pregnant or both by the time her stint as a judge starts!”
However, Hollywood Life cites another source who claims that Cyrus is already pregnant with Hemsworth’s baby.
“Miley has announced to a select group of friends that she’s expecting. She’d been feeling nauseous all the time and knew deep down that she might be pregnant,” explained that source. “Now Miley is quickly planning a summer wedding so that she’s not too far along in her pregnancy when [she and Liam] say ‘I do.’ ”
