Daddy And 3-Year-Old Daughter Perfectly Recreate Lantern Scene From Disney’s ‘Tangled’

There’s a 3-year-old little girl who is taking the Internet by storm and with very good reason. She and her father put together music videos for YouTube and their Facebook page which has them taking on roles and singing songs. Sure, it may sound like a dad and daughter just having fun, but it’s turning into so much more and their latest video recreates the lantern scene from Disney’s Tangled in adorably perfect fashion.

Claire Ryann Crosby is only 3-years-old, but she has a voice like an angel as many may remember from her rendition of “Part of Your World” from Disney’s The Little Mermaid earlier this year. Now, she’s done another Disney song and it is quite possibly the best one yet.

Dressed as Rapunzel while her dad Dave Crosby is dressed as Flynn Rider, the duo floats along in a boat on the water. Guitar in hand, Dave plays “I See The Light” from Disney’s Tangled and then you hear the incredible voice of a little girl who knows how to send chills through your body.

Give yourself a minute while likely listening to it again or drying your eyes.

It’s one of the most touching and sweetest moments from Disney’s Tangled as Flynn shows Rapunzel what the “floating lights” are all about. During that scene, the two also obviously realize their love for one another and how much they need each other.

The father and daughter do such an amazing job of recreating the scene complete with costumes, the boat, the song, and especially the setting.

Dave and Claire Ryann actually filmed the entire video at The Lantern Festival which takes place in Salt Lake City, Utah. Tickets are currently on sale for this year’s event which takes place on August 20. It was the perfect setting for the YouTube video which recreates the “floating lights” scene from Tangled.

All of that is fantastic and makes for a great video, including the amazingly sweet and incredible voice of young Claire Ryann. You’re going to find yourself smiling uncontrollably while watching the video and listening to the voice that is going to take that little girl to big places.

Earlier this year, the duo released a video with Claire Ryann singing “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid, and it has ended up paying off big time.

In mid-May, it was revealed on Claire Ryann’s official Facebook page that the video caught the eye of a casting director. That being said, the little 3-year-old is not done with the tale of the mermaid finding love in the human world.

Universal and Working Title are working on a live-action version of The Little Mermaid from the tale by Hans Christian Andersen. Chloe Grace Moretz will take the lead role and Shirley MacLaine will also have a role where she is the grandmother of characters played by Claire Ryann and Lexy Kolker.

Claire Ryann has taken the world of viral videos to new levels of cuteness, and her new ventures into the acting world could take her to great heights. A beautiful voice and a great platform like the Internet has helped her already accomplish so much at such a young age.

YouTube is a great way to get noticed by so many people around the world, and it has obviously worked for Dave Crosby and his daughter Claire Ryann. Now, she is heading on to appear in a feature film that could very well turn into a promising career for the young girl. Their video recreating the lantern scene from Disney’s Tangled is just the latest video that has gone viral, and it certainly won’t be the last.
