Is Perrie Edwards Copying Gigi Hadid’s Signature Street Style?
Gigi Hadid and Perrie Edwards have very distinct styles. The Little Mix singer is more bohemian and carefree, while the 21-year-old model is chic, yet sexy. But it looks like Perrie is taking some style tips from Gigi, who is currently dating her ex, Zayn Malik.
Perrie Edwards reportedly stole Gigi Hadid’s latest look when she stepped out in a similar styled rock and roll crop top. The 23-year-old British pop star stepped out in a black AC/DC crop top paired with a bright orange high-waisted leather miniskirt. Edwards completed her look with slick blonde hair, a tattoo choker, a black chain-strap handbag, and black strappy stilettos. She also wore black mascara, bronzed eyeshadow, and nude lipstick.
Perrie was having a night with a group of male and female friends, according to the Daily Mail. They dined at London’s Steam and Rye restaurant before dancing the night away at the Bonbonniere club. Perrie’s ensemble looked similar to Gigi’s look from earlier last week, when she stepped out in a black Rolling Stones crop top, in which she paired with black sheer cutout pants and a long gold chain with the initials “Z” and “G” for Zayn and Gigi. She pulled her signature long blonde hair back in a low ponytail as she joined her BFF Kendall Jenner for their girls’ night out.

It’s unlikely that Edwards’ is stealing Hadid’s style. Their similar-looking outfits could just be a coincidence. Edwards has been dressing like a rocker chick for the past month, and it’s not like she knowingly follows Hadid on social media. But it looks like both blonde beauties share a love for the slicked back hairstyle.
This isn’t the first time that Gigi Hadid and Perrie Edwards have rocked similar looks. Edwards reportedly had a wild night on the town on Saturday night, May 28, with her friends and little sister, Caitlin Edwards. The singer slipped into a black mid-length mesh dress that showed off her black bra and matching high-waisted underpants. Edwards paired her look with slicked back hair, black strappy heels, black mascara, and simple makeup.
Then a newly-single Gigi Hadid then one-upped the singer when she wore a black sheer David Koma dress to Spike’s 10th annual Guys Choice Awards on Saturday, June 4. Hadid was there to receive her “Our New Girlfriend” award. Hadid kept it simple as she paired her red carpet look with silver metallic Giuseppe Zanotti heels, sexy tousled hair, and simple makeup.
In the midst of Gigi and Zayn’s on-and-off relationship, Perrie recently opened up to OK! Magazine about her dating life. She admitted that she’s quite shy when it comes to asking guys out on a date.
“I’m quite shy when it comes to dating. I haven’t been on a lot of dates but I have had some amazing ones in my time. I like it when a guy makes me laugh and is spontaneous.”
Edwards may be single at the moment, but she still has an idea of the kind of guy she’s looking for.
“I do like people to be 100 percent themselves and not afraid to be crazy or do something outlandish or fun. I don’t like the typical let’s go for a fancy meal-type dates, that would make me too nervous. I’d rather go bowling or something.”
Meanwhile, Gigi has been in an up-and-down relationship. She has taken to Snapchat and Instagram to let her fans know that she loves her boyfriend and that she misses him, despite the rumors that the pair quietly split weeks ago. In addition, a source told Just Jared that the two are still dating.
“The break up rumors are completely false. And they have met each other’s families despite false rumors circulating.”
Keep in mind that Perrie Edwards was spotted wearing her engagement ring following their surprising split last year.
